Forum problems

Seems the forum problems are returning.

bunch of header errors and mysql errors.

But hey, they're gone for now, but knowing them, they'll show up again out of nowhere.

what?

Seems the forum problems are returning. You know, the ones where the top of the page is filled with MySQL error messages and stuff.

They seem to have disapeared for now, but they might return at any unknown time :megaeek:

Yea, I seem to have that problem about once per day when I check the forums (I check the forums many times, because I hate having a lot of unread posts to go through at 1 time)

but if you just go do something else, and come back later, they are usually working again... it's just annoying
:P

Once and a while the forums are down or something, as in, I cannot find the server, or something.

I think the DNS server goes down time to time.

Try a corrupt MySQL table is my guess, All graal onlines things use the same DNS Servers, If you can access the site then the DNS Server is up (Or your ISP has it cached, Still shouldnt cache the IP only the DNS Servers with Glue for the domain).

But my guess is a few MySQL tables get corrupt or locked, It's a horrible design flaw in MySQL, I once wrote a program to auto correct it, But its not good. Not fixing the problem only making it go away

You're probably right, but somethings the DNS does go down, not often though.

A lot of times it will connect, but just refuse the connection...that's probably the tables thing.
