good lord, I would have thought Glock's web page name would be a little more classy than that. Anywho... It's pretty bad, looks like a mango shoved on a stick! Definatley start over - unless ofcourse that's what you were going for.

Think of the physics/basics of guns,
1) A gun has to be metal or ceramic or some other kind of very hard material to withstand an explosion big enough to send a bullet hurteling at almost the speed of sound, and not blow up. 2) A gun needs to be ergonomic, because when you fire, there will be some recoil, and if you have big spikes coming out of the back, whats going to happen? 3) The little yellow things that come out of a gun when fired are not sparks, they are flames. Which means you are losing effeciency from firing the gun, this is bad. The bigger the flame, the less effecient the gun, sacrificing range, speed and force. Flames the size of yours would basically make the bullet squeese itself out of the barrel and drop to the floor, that is of course if the explosion doesnt blow up that parsnip in your face. Here's vegtable product in your eye. |
I was going to add some general tips to help get you on your way of put it seems that Hevaricubed was very thorough in her explanation. ;)
Here are two good graphic tips that I can give you. When you are making something like a gun in your case, you need to first figure the size you need the final graphic to be and then work on the outline of the graphic before you do anything to it. Keep working on the outline of your graphic until you can tell by a quick glance that it looks like a handgun, sword, or whatever you are making. If you do not have a good outline or basic shape to go from, it does not matter how much shading and detailing you put into the graphic because it will not look good. I hope those general graphic tip can be of some help to you. Goes back to working on the EoA Forums, |

You've gotta make the bandages a bit different, less color. They should look faded, maybe with a bit of blood around the edges. Make them a pale offwhite, with perhaps less uniformity when they wrap around the barrell.
By the way guys, he was trying to make a sawed-off shotgun :). |

made a totally new gun... currently working on up and down for it though...
it makes the balls with the curved thing inside the two "prongs" then throws them out at high speeds |
Looks nice, although if that handle and that trigger is supposed to be relative to the graal player, then the actual gun is huge O.o

The side views of that last image are attractive but the up and down didnt turn out so hot (as is the case with most gun gfx in this game)
Also shouldnt the sights on the top of the gun be more leveled? x_x |
