GoZelda 01-08-2004 10:49 PM

be more precise please...

What the hell are you talking about?

D1ce2 01-08-2004 10:50 PM

Kill with kingdom tag on > all kingdom members online get exp. x.x I killed 8 lords in wisdom, should of level'd me up but my exp hardley changed. x.x

GoZelda 01-08-2004 10:54 PM

I don't think that excists though. Would be cool in wars though, like 'killed player level*1000 exp' :o

D1ce2 01-08-2004 10:56 PM

It is true, Some 1 said that stefan massed it out. Either way where is my EXP gone :/

Satrek2000 01-08-2004 11:31 PM

What he said was that they were testing something - removing parties, and sharing experience with guildmembers instead. Kingdoms count as guilds.

Personally, I'm against that - at best, it'd force people off tag if they do maps. Worse, some may leave kingdoms entirely...

Unless it is totally RP, people should not wear kingdom tags while levelling up.

It's a disgrace to RPing.

Right now, most people are wearing the tag all the time, being active in toguilds. What, if you walk arround, and encounter a lord? I don't know how thin exp will be spread, but most likely players will go off tag. This will at least for some reault in a drop of kingdom activity.
Sure, the server is about roleplaying, I'm the first one to agree with that, but this system won't encourage it. It may seperate the casual rper from the hardcore rper, but it'll keep the casuals from rping.
Also, if I have to share my exp, I'd rather decide about that myself, either in the family or to train an apprentice, and not pe forced to share with the whole kingdom or not at all - it might just as well make people lazy, and lose track of what they have acomplished.

Satrek - you should note my caveat ("Unless it is totally RP").

Satrek2000 01-09-2004 08:11 AM

My point is that GK is, despite everyone's best efforts - a mixture. You can rp and still level. This kingdom exp works against that, at least in some ways, or so I believe. Or is it too early for me to get you right?

D1ce2 01-09-2004 11:25 AM

Satrek your right on everything you said. But I'm a bit confused, even off tag do the members get EXP?. Well anyways not alot of people will be leveling then.
I'm still mad about me killing 8 lords in wisdom and not getting exp :/

I heard so, but I don't think that's even possible - if someone is member in two guilds, things would screw...

I think it's a bad idea even having it. If this is true (On what you said) I'm leaving KJ I don't want to do brutals and only an ammount of exp from a worm I've killed, whilst the lazy people don't want to level up and just idle on tag and get free exp .:\

GoZelda 01-09-2004 06:02 PM

/party join <kingdom name> ? When you are in the same kingdom and join this party, you gain exp. no matter how far away you are?
