BTW, I know about the tile errors with the fences and grass. Can easily be fixed with custom tiles, I was just too lazy to do it. :*(

Also, I know the houses are small, they are supposed to be. This is the suburb of a larger town/city.

Level looks good, sure is a lot of stuff going on in it though.

Also, for some reason I just hate those grass-over-grass tiles, the black contrasts between the green layers so much, but thats just my personal, usually solitary opinion.

I like it, I dislike the sand path though :(

Crono 01-03-2004 04:06 PM

The sand path really ruins it. Personally I prefer to use the.."softer" sand to grass tiles. (Like the path i showed in that level i posted a while ago).

The buildings look ok, nothing special, simple, and small. Not somewhere I would want to live but I guess it's good enough. The fences are ok and the mountain around it is nice and simple.

The detail is good, however on the buttom right mountain those grass strouts get very repetitive as they are too close and all connected.

Crono's Rating-5/10

Not bad =)

7, nice detailing without being too much
It's a good level.

I like the level detailing, but the houses are too plain, needs some imagination :)

Nice level, but its too much just brown and green. So maybe try and work some other colours in there, or atleast some different shades of those colours.

I like it, just a couple things...

1. There's an error on the large red house where the two parts connect.

2. I don't really like making paths as you have, try using the other path tile type, or if you like, you can try using both at the same time.

3. I HATE jules.

4. The fence makes the spots around the houses look crowded... Why do the fenced paths lead away from the dirt paths and not merge with them?

Thats all I can think of right now... Good work!

Not to be mean..:
1, Either way looks good.

2, Any path look's good if it is done correctly, apart from sandpath..

3, Jules look good if you have new features to it. (If you want me to show you some I'd be glad to.

4, I agree.

There's this thing called "personal opinion" I suggest you go learn about it...

Don't be so arrogant. It's generally frowned upon... I'd also like to say that I've looked through your level theads, and I'm not impressed in the least.

You didn't give an opinion at all. You asked a seemingly rhetorical question implying (combined with the statement in your signature) that you're leaving had some sort important effect on level quality... That's how I see it.
