New Events Master
 

((Some may have noticed my first event yesterday. You'll also notice that I'm using ooc-brackets. I know this isn't necessary, but I have decided to do events in character. I'll just quote what I massed yesterday: ))

Greetings everyone. Some may know me, I am Satrek Horn, High Mage of Dustari and member of the Order of Mages. I spent the recent months digging through what's left of our order's library, and what I found is plainly amazing - a legacy too large and important not to share it with every inhabitant of this archipelago. What I found were the ruins of the ancient Magetower, which, crumbled as it may be, still contains many artefacts and items of mysterious power, and every week I discover more. Maybe, one day, this tower can be reinstated, but for now I have decided to honor my predecessors by using these items for the good of everyone. I will do my best to remain neutral, and I'm not someone to to hold grudges against persons or groups.

((I'm open to suggestions and constructive comments. I'll try to hold fun and diverse events. I'll try to think of something to keep track of this ongoing storyline for those who care.))

Wow, this is great!

Heh cool... but how did the Tower got lost? Might be interesting too.
And perhaps the Demons will betray you ^^
I'll see if i can buy a Ring of Magic in Stores or an amulet of reflect spells, could be a nice item too :)
Also, i bought some 'strong' spells yesterday, but i knew them already - Grimoire of Bullet Storm could be a nice prize, eh? (lvl.10)
What i'm curious about though, is how you got EM... :\

I'll see to adding story elements into it for those who care. I'm putting together something on the URL in my sig, it's not that much for now, but we'll see... maybe a document from the ruins every now and then... I wouldn't be surprised if the reason for the tower's collapse would be found in the kitchen... ;)

As for how I became EM... well... I'm afraid I was hired :eek:

Well, I still need someone to carry the buckets of rubble from the mountains to the shore... the demons refuse to do that... ;)

I do not mean to be mean towards you but I dislike your events. There all about knowlage etc like what happend in this year or what song came out by so and so which was about a raindeer. Etc x.x No offence.....

So far, I've held three events. I've never done this before, and I made it clear that I'm open to suggestions. As for the ongoing background story, refer to the url in my sig.
The first event reqired someone to bring a selection of common items to me to get an ice dagger.
The second event consisted of a trivia with 10 christmas related questions. As far as your quotations are concerned, the question was about a christmas-related animal song, which narrows down the choices in my opinion ;)
The third was a trivia with graal-related questions, as some players had requested such after the first trivia.

There will be other trivias over time with other topics. I certainly intend to hold other kind of events, and I try not to favor strong people from the start.
