Proclamation of War and Resolution
Presented by Ministry of Information, The Zormite Republic
The 21st day of December in the year of our gods Whereas history shall reveal, on this day in the 1st hour of the evening sun, a conversation did occur privately between Wren Sagesun Archigos, Dictatress of The Zormite Republic and Dayaa Carters, Queen of the clan known as Nighthawks regarding a former citizen of said Zormite Republic who recently left his kingdom. Queen Dayaa did request high level information regarding the personality and character of Nathan Ohnstad whom she had appointed a high ranking official in her military. Having gained that protected information from the Dictatress of Zormite, so given in trust and confidence, the Nighthawks Queen Dayaa did turn, placing in harms way the innocent people of Zormite, and inflame her General's ill will toward Zormite by revealing all that was said by the Dictatress regarding his past conflicts within the Zormite community. General Nathan Ohnstad of Nighthawks did subsequently set about attacking and killing Zormites as a result of his ire. Among those attacked, the Republic's Ambassador to Kurenai Joukai, Ben Rain and Leader of the Zormite Navy, Megaegir Ruatha Vimes. The General was also witnessed to attack other Zormitians praying at the altar of Govannon. The Queen's indiscretion with privileged information was viewed as a disrespectful and willful mis-use of her leadership. Further, when questioned by Dictatress Archigos about her selection in military leadership, Queen Dayaa's response was 'I recruit as I see fit'. Thus history will note, Queen Dayaa practiced with a total disregard for political alliance, propriety and consideration, having performed incompetently as a leader on multiple levels and occasions prior to the outright attacks upon the Zormite people. As further proof and confirmation of these facts, on the second hour of the evening sun, General Nathan Ohnstad contacted the Dictatress directly, stating and confirming his knowledge of all that she had privately said to the Queen regarding flaws in his character. The Dictatress then requested satisfaction from the Queen in this matter, yet received no response. Hence, in the 4th hour of the evening sun, Strategus Morpheus Rumbli of the Zormite Republic made the official report that innocent lives were lost as a result of Nighthawks General Nathan Ohnstad who had proclaimed a personal war upon Zormitians. Subsequently, both the King and the Queen of Nighthawks were witnessed shooting arrows outside the gates of the Zormite castle. Within moments of these reports, the Alliance was called to arms and was immediately en route to protect the Zormite homelands. Meanwhile, as the Queen denied the attacks publicly, claiming that her rogue clan had no designs for war, reports continued to filter in that aggressive actions continued by her General and others. These threats were viewed as imminent and on-going by the Alliance. It became apparent that the Queen either lied to the public or had no control of her military force. Upon arrival of Alliance officials to the Zormite castle gates, the Nighthawks King stood scoffing outside with his minions and the Queen had secreted herself away. (logged off) Safely inside the Ministry of Defense building, the officials of the Alliance came to emergency decisions designed to protect the interests of the kingdoms of Zormite and Dustari. The Alliance gathered the military strength of Dustari and the powerful force of the Zormite Navy to rush the lands of Nighthawks Island and depose the Queen and King who continually threatened peace across these lands. As the Alliance moved forth toward Nighthawks Island, intelligence provided that the King had engaged the services of yet another rogue clan, The Black Cloak, to protect his evil intent. As the Alliance arrived on the Nighthawk shores the King was heard yelling and laughing maniacally, 'Enjoy your visit to Nighthawks Island!' An instant later, The Black Cloak was upon us. The Alliance fought a prolonged and difficult battle with the powerful Black Cloak clan and many succumbed to injury in the battle. But the Alliance did prevail with the combined might of Zoe Sagesun Nightrose, Princess of Dustari and General Drikken Sagesun left standing in the end, victorious and uninjured on the shores of Nighthawks Island. In the name of the Alliance, they did plant both the flags of Dustari and Zormite upon the soil to mark the new ownership of this land. As medics attended to the wounded and the dead were collected, the King of Nighthawks did recognize this victory of the Alliance by publicly and repeatedly surrendering his control of the land and officially stepped down from his throne. Late in the night, a stranger came forth to the Dictatress, at the 11th hour of the evening sun. Her name, she said, was Kiki, and she bore bitter and poisonous words for the Dictatress but offered up the head of Queen Dayaa upon a silver platter, then walked back into the night. Witnesseth to these facts and sworn by their gods to be the full facts and the true facts of this historical event, the undersigned hereby testify below with their signatures: Prince Padren T. Nightrose, Dustari Princess Zoe Sagesun Nightrose, Dustari Dictatress Wren Sagesun Archigos, The Zormite Republic General Drikken Sagesun, Dustari Civilian Ashtin Vaye, The Zormite Republic Aegir Dax Issani, The Zormite Republic Megaegir Ruatha Vimes, The Zormite Republic Lieutour Uri Vanstenov, The Zormite Republic Magistrate Salli Vanalaith, The Zormite Republic Ambassador Ben Rain, The Zormite Republic Sentry Dark Darth, The Zormite Republic Civilian Jack Smith, The Zormite Republic Lady Athen Sagesun, Dustari Twusk, The Phoenix, Dustari (if your signature belongs here, please send Dictatress Wren a forum pm) |
Well said
Well said Wren. I am indeed witnessed to this. Dayaa is quiet a honest and nice person, but a poor leader and bad actions.

On the aforementioned day, the Aegir Dax Issanni was summoned to duty on a sudden alarm. His friend and leader, Ruatha, was under attack at the castle. The Aegir quickly made his way threw the old passageway under the sea, and to his surprise, saw the Nighthawks King standing off with Ruatha.
After about an hour of preparation, the Dustari and Zormite Alliance set off to sea on three warships. When Dax's ship had landed, there was a scream of terror. The Black Cloak clan had appeared, and their powerful warriors were running around, slashing and doing battle at will. There was a ceasing of assault of both sides(NPC Failure), and Dax heard news that the mighty Driken and Zoe Sagesun were stranded. Though slightly wounded from the battles, Dax took the initiative right after the peace was shattered, and steered a boat towards the spot where Driken and Zoe were supposedly stranded. All he saw was Driken and Tecumseh Ace Cump clobbering eachother with their swords as he pulled up. With a quick 'DON'T!' from Driken, Dax stayed his weapon. After Driken had defeated his foe, Dax pointed to the direction where his ship was, and Driken was off. By the time Dax had reached the landing, Zoe Sagesun had pushed off, and brought the boat back to the battlefront. And that was all Dax saw of the Nighthawks island. All accounts recorded by the Dictatress are true. |

Indeed, on that grave evening upon nearing the castle grounds, the Megaegir of the Zormite Republic came under fire from arrows and hell's fire. He quickly dived through the castle gates and bolted them shut, safe from this onslaught for the time being. After running into the castle's walls, he slumped against a pillar, panting and grasping his side...it was bleeding once more from his encounter with the maniac Nathan Ohnstad, formerly of the Republic and the Nighthawks. He sent a messenger away as soon as he was found, and was tended to by the castle's infermary.
The moment he was fit again, he grabbed up his bow and charged outside to meet his agressors. Unfortunately, they had encased themselves in the shields of their minions and could not be reached by his arrows ((They were in Pmode -_-)). He lowered his bow and approached them, questioning them firmly, with little sensible reply. Shortly after, the remaining officials of the Alliance arrived and their forces, and the Nighthawks royals were surrounded and fully interrogated. Once a plan was devised, there was little time to lose, and within the hour Ruatha and his aide Dax Issani, the Navy's Aegir, had prepared three ships, loaded the cannons and assigned crews accordingly. In no time at all, the forces of the Alliance were upon the waves and the invasion was taking place. The initial attack was carried out by the ships H.M.S Bluenose, Captained by Xerkalan Null Stunde, and Dax Issani's own vessel. Last to arrive was the Bombia, carrying the royalties of Dustari, Dictatress Wren, and their personal Guard. The Bluenose landed on the northern shores, Dax's ship landed on the western shores, and the Bombia landed on the southwesterly beaches of Nighthawks Island. Ruatha was the last to vacate his vessel, and the first thing he saw was the bloodied blade and corrupted soul of a Black Cloak member. Under the barrage of magical spells from the air, and the swipes of the Black Cloak's blade, he risked an attack using his oldest weapon, the Naginata, without success. The blade failed to make a scratch in the Black Cloak's armour, so he took up his bow and fired a rain of arrows. Unfortunately, all attacks were futile. Within moments of firing, the black cloak was upon him with a heavy blow from the flat of his sword. It landed directly upon Vimes' arm, breaking it isntantly. Due to the magical strength of the weapon, the Megaegir was sent flying feet into the air and out into the waves. Unable to swim due to his battered body, Ruatha was quickly consumed by the ocean which he held dear and carried off far out to sea, quickly losing conciousness. He awoke upon the western shores of samurai, the face of Driken himself staring down at him. Coughing up water was all he could do right now, but once he got to his feet, quick conversation with Driken on the situation was all he could manage. Driken departed to finish the battle, but Ruatha, sadly, was out of commission. He managed to get a ride to the Nighthawks Island just in time to see the Nighthawks King, Hawk Carters, surrender his throne and his island, before passing out once again from sheer exhaustion. |
((Now we had a rather decent-sounding war and I was in bed... still it sounds good and rp-like, I think it's a good start - just hoping that some day we'll have a proper war over the run of a few weeks, remaining friends ooc with whichever kingdom whoever is attacking for whatever (good) reasons - I hope you get my point ;) ))

Only thing is i can't be bothered X_X |
It would be great if there were an agreement amongst all leaders in all clans and kingdoms over the rules of engagement.
Certain restrictions that must be met in order for a full-out war, and also restrictions on what can be done during that war. Violators of these terms would be considered war criminals, and would be sought for capture and put on trial for war crimes. Just a thought. |

And may I remind you all, that all things said by all the above, are completely and wholly true.
