I got banned because he upgraded my acc
I didnt know he was a hacker

so stefan(or other high staff) blocked my ip adres...

so I get Lifetime ban only because I gave my password out?

this is not fair :(

I want second chance :(

I was told be a certain global admin that they don't use global IP bans anymore...

Still, account sharing is illegal...

That hardly classifies for an IP ban...

:rolleyes: I'm not sure about anyone else here, but I don't care that he was sharing an account. To me, sharing an account is a small time and getting an IP ban for it (if he is telling the truth and the correct story) is rediculous. It seems to me as though minor rules are being enforced more than the important ones.

Said global admin seems to have been wrong.

Moonite was indeed IP banned because his account was fraudently upgraded, so to speak.

But I remember Lyzndzey (spelling?) said that it was ok for people to upgrade your account if you get the recipt right after and change your password right away.

I remember that too.
Unixmad said it was okay in one of his recent very long threads, but the people that do this put themselves at risk of being banned. He said it around the time Sky, Negligence, Devil and a few others got banned for CC fraud.

IP ban? or just that acc that was upgraded?

Devil got unbanned before anyone else did .. and the person who "frauded" (his cc expired as he said) was exgear.

I was told it is ok but if you are banned, you can never be unbanned.

And with the IP thing, I might have told you I can't IP ban but Stefan and unixmad can.

Well there may have been other reasons why Moonite was IP banned. IP bans are usually for people who are known hackers, or make threats about hacking graal. But if it's credit card fraud, mayeb the admins decided that it's best to have frradulant peple out of gral completly?

if only you knew how many Account Sharings go on in Graal, I see it all the time, report it, never are they banned on Classic x.x I dont even think the GPs care about it anymore. but hey. If Harrasment is Global Ban, Account Sharing should be too

What is the ban reason? (I didnt read post, so sorry if its already been said)...hm... btw whats the protest here? If you want to be reduced to a normal global account ban you still can't use graal as its against the rules to come back with a new account +_+

Ugh, no. I disagree with that rule and you on this one. Only Stefan and unixmad can IP ban and we know how hard it is to get in contact with them (like fugitive Saddam and Bin Laden). Anyways, this should stay unless one of you global goody-two shoes will work this out. ;) I don't like the chances of that though...

Regardless of what you think, it is still against the rules to post about bans on the forums.

and Stefan if u only ban IP adresses if someone hack with DOS graal or someting like that..

It is pretty clear on who to contact for certain things . There is a chain of command on Graal as in real life, going straight to Stefan or Unixmad is not the proper way of doing it and is why you don't get an answer 99% of the time.

if you follow these 2 simple guildelines you just may get something done alot sooner..

She won't do anything to help this person with a problem like this. Her intent was to make this thread so she can get advice on what she needed to do and/or find out why she was banned.

and it is neither of your jobs to tell us this, if the Administrators think so THEY CAN delete it. 1 of them have already replied i guess that means its ok.

STEFAN is in charge of Angel, STEFAN has seen this post, STEFAN had the choice to delete it but did not. Angel can't do anything about it if Stefan hasn't

You don't speak for Lyndzey and it is not your place to say what she will do or not do. She deals with accounts and that is what she does. She does not select what she will do or not do. if it is within her power she will or get with Unixmad or Stefan on it. (She does have a high global RC) As for her intent, I do not question her intent only the method she chose; which is the Forums. Regardless of intent it is illegal to do so here, you cannot run the Forums or the Game but making things illegal but if the intent is good we will overlook it type attitude. Use the protocols provided to solve a problem you have , it is why they are set up that way.

Lyndzey has already stated she can't help. Why can't you understand this?

Going to Stefan is always a good option, he actually listens when you PM him, worked for me when I got banned on forums for "trying to steal my account" and no one else would listen, they were like "suuure", well..they didnt literally say that, but you get the picture.

haha. :rolleyes: to all your posts. Wow, what to start with first... this a tough one. I'm really sure Lyndzey and the PWA team have so much power to deal with an IP ban (unbanning it). The only things you could possibly do is go and talk to unixmad and/or Stefan about it.

Seeing as though you say that, I'd like to see the little team of "elite" global administrators unban this guy without going to Stefan or unixmad. :) But then again, I don't think you were talking about globals in general, just us small people who play and contribute money to Graal, right?

w3d...Lyndzey can ban and unban accounts, it is her job to take care of accounts

She is very reluctant to carry out those actions though.

Of course I don't. I wasn't speaking for her. I was stating what I know to be true based on a past experience where she refused to help someone I knew that had a similar problem.

Also she (Lyndzey) did post here.

She was ignored and so she sought out another way to get her question answered. Stefan did respond, and he did not close the thread like he could have done.
