Some suggestions, and not hard to implement!

Yeah, not hard to implement.

Okay, this is what the, in my opinion, most important one is:
Y'all probably know classic and all those servers, and most of us love them. What they got that Kingdoms doesn't, are those rooms that are just there. They may contain NPC's that tell a story, or something like that. On G2K2, nearly every room has a purpose, except on the Starting Island i believe - like the pub with it's NPC's. It's so easy. Just add two houses to Bomboria, make one a storage house, and another one just the house of a NPC, and Bomboria suddenly is a lot more colorfull and lively. Perhaps you could add in NPCs which just walk around a bit in Bomboria, like you see in all those RPG's, and say stuff like 'I've heard you can find special potions in the Underground Dungeon', or something similiar.

The Haunted House also is sooo boring. Every room is filled with monsters. Why not add in that if you touch one of the cupboards, you find something like a book that tells us about the Haunted House? And having to trade everything trough quests... yuck. Maybe a key item should be got by getting some sort of 'permission paper' to explore a cave on, say, the mountain of Dustari. This cave contains no enemies, but there are falling rocks, and somewhere is a key.

To tell the truth, Graal's a lot colourful with the Quest NPC's. If a newbie stumbles on them, he gets really curious :) Those are cool. Now add in some that don't really have a purpose.

And the second. Well, since we've got stat potions and nearly everyone has piety, why not bring back stat loss, and perhaps exp loss?

All ideas are nice... except the ones in the last passage :\
But its true... the towns (especially those on the kingdom islands) look like empty, boring ghost villages

NO
EN OH
N
O
NNNNNNNNNN OOOOOOOOOOOOO
NOOOONONONONONONONO
OHHHNONONONON

Basically, no. if they re-add them, i will go crazy and unleash the legendary blue banana skin upon europe and tell it to hunt down and asphyxiate stefan and unixmad and the likes.
Those damned stat-down things are just ridiculous. Way back when 2k2 first came out (yeah, it was called 2k2 then ;) ) they had the stat down stuff and that's what made me quit the first time around. I ran to era...horrible, horrible experience (both stat-down and era :O).

It's just retarded, especially for lower-level people and especially level ones because....you're level one, you just rolled good stats, and you need to level up so that things like mushrooms. You get killed by a mushroom, so you lose some stats, making it EVEN EASIER for them to kill you. They kill you again, even quicker this time, so you lose even more stats. this loops around until you're so pathetically weak that you can't do anything. Sucks to be new.

The only up-side to this would be that PKers would become non-existant. There would be one guy who can beat everyone else right now, and so he would kill all the other PKers, knocking their stats down, so they would just get screwed (which is a good thing. none of the kingdoms would let them back in so they could get back on pmode(i hope)) and so they would jsut keep getting screwed up by this one guy; they'd know how the normal players feel when these bums are PKing them :(

Another bad thing is that the stat-down would nuke RP even more than it already is. In the rare event of a battle starting up, people would say "No i dont want to have a battle, my stats will go down :(" and so there won't be a fight, thus less RP, thus poopy.

NO STAT-DOWN!

Khallos_2k2 12-14-2003 09:35 PM

Well, i agree with the No stat loss, but there was always Kingdom mode (which i think should be re-added), which meant you didnt lose xp

Maybe i wasn't clear enough, but i also meant that these buildings would be 'filled up'. Add a bartender to the pub, some drunk guy sleeping in the corner, stuff like that.

OMG THERES STILL RP where???¿¿¿ ::looks under rock::

pssshhh naw ur just pullen my wallet chain

Aye, but what would be ideal is if there were people playing the bartender and the drunk in the corner.
I've made it a habit of occasionally sleeping under a lamp post in Bomboria, but nobody ever does anything (except for the occasional person trying to slash me (doesn't work, I'm on peaceful.) and the people that dig up Shell bomies in front of me.)

I would agree, but most likely the level 60+ people would go on a PK rampage, kill everyone else, and only a few high levels would be left, forcing everyone to go on peaceful or end up being level 10ish

For the sake of rping, I'd agree - if someone'd waylay the High Mage, put a knive against his troath, talk a bit, then when the High Mage tried some spell to defeat them, and all participants decide that, whatever the consequences for the bad boys, the High Mage dies. Then I'd accept a loss - but not when there are people arround who'd kill for killing's sake, and specially to lower their stats if possible.

That's what i thought to :\
Especially because killing people gave you exp... Tec would kill, say, lvl.52 (?) Wren, so he gets lvl.80 :\

What about that: not dieing results in exp-loss, but killing in times of peace. That'd require a proper war-system, I agree, but this is due, too, I think. This way, pking would be prevented like the permanent luck-1 per pk does on CF.
