Advanced Roleplaying Playerworld

Hello there again, I am posting here today to tell you about a new playerworld in development. I'm planning on it being very advanced, like nothing ever to hit Graal, i'm not that great at graal development, but I am very good at organizing things, planning out systems, and I know basic scripting. Anyway, I already have all the major parts of the playerworld planned out
I have all kinds of different races such as Avariels, Sirens, Merpeople, and i already have a very good, yet simple Time/Weather/Calendar system planned, already planned out how many days in each month, names of different months, holidays, and I even have thing such as the different overworlds, clothes system, and classes planned out. I already have a pretty good line of staff, a very very experienced scripter, a very quick and good artist, very good level-makers, but since i want this playerworld to be perfect, like nothing ever come to graal I do need more staff, I have everything planned out, I have the storyline in the making, and i'm serious about this.
If anyone would please come to help me in this playerworld I would appreciate it very much, currently i am hiring the following..

- Scripters (NAT)
- Artists (GAT)
- Tilers (LAT)

The tileset is still in the making, do you people really judge a server by what it's graphics look like?

Anyway, proteus i'm sorry, but if we can't get more staff i have to quit, i can't do all this advanced work by myself and my life is getting really sucky lately.

That's stupid, it could have the best graphics in all of graal and still have awful gameplay.

HoudiniMan 12-10-2003 12:56 AM

Kinda unlikely...

It's much more common to have awful graphics, and then you can't have better than a certain level of quality as far as gameplay goes.

Besides, gameplay can be twisted and changed and improved by suggestions from players. Graphics... that's a bit harder

A name for the server would also be nice -_-

maybe he wants to make a good name that sums up his server in one or two grand words, besides thinking of a name off the top of his head like every bad playerworld on the list.

A cloths system? Why would an RP server need something like that? Just reminds me of typical 'classic' servers where you'll get an NPC that changes your body colors.

Seriously, what's it going to be like? Can you define the gameplay in some manner? Anything can have the label 'Advanced' slapped onto it :p I could say that Doragon has an advanced RP structure, but that's not true. It is true, however, that I'm looking at how to do an RP server differently that keeps things fresh.

Saying it's an "advanced" role-playing "playerworld" isn't going to do it chief. Everywhere says they're advanced. Get back to basics.

Well, it sounds like you are really hurting for staff now...

What makes your server different from the others if you have the same basic NPC's as the rest of the server?
