I recently just heard that Calani was either forced too, or stepped down herself from the spot as Queen, which, in my opinion, cannot be RP'd at all... (Queens cant just _step_ down...)

But at any rate, I've had these pictures for quite some time, their quite self-explanitory, but if you need explanation, or help realizing what their point is...

It's of Wren and Tseng both on tag, Kissing, but of course events beforehand led to it.. I simply noticed them, and decided to full-screen graal (didnt know alt+3 got rid of minimap) and decided to eavesdrop on them... they spoke abit, personal stuff, Wren saying few times "She'd do anything, or be anybody for you" towards Tseng, him usually answering with "I see..." or something... eventually it led to her winning a starring contest or some ****, and she asked for a kiss, he did, and he did so again, later on...

I just feel these are important screenshots of affair (RP wise) and of course somebodys obvious yearnning for power... BTW, i believe this was just before the Alliance... intresting isnt it...

And heres the second one... its of worse quality, since the damnd minimap was there, and that hill just makes you burn down it...

Someone do me a favor and explain why screenshots are not a facet of RPing, please. I'm too tired to do so.

You cannot incorporate a screenshot into RPing is what I am saying. You cannot base RP events upon a screenshot.

Im not basing any rp event upon a screen shot, I'm asking you why your kissing Wren, and your avoidding answering it.

If you cant base RP events upon a screenshot, then I'd like to know why Alex's funeral, which was a RP [event] in Forest, was based on a series of SS (or so I received through AIM to tell me about it)..

Your trying to get out of this by saying you need not explain because these Screen Shots arent "allowed" or something of the sort... if you dont feel like explainning yourself, then let somebody else explain to me why Calani is no longer Queen

You still don't get it. I don't know what you're trying to accomplish by posting this, but it seems as though you're attempting to start some kinda IC problem, naturally) utilizing something OOC (screenshots). This is what I'm objecting to.

Oh, I see. You merely don't understand what the verb 'to base' means. I'll rephrase: the RP event for Alex's funeral was not based on a screenshot. In other words, the basis for the RP event was not the screenshot. In still other words, examine it chronologically. The screenshot was taken from the RP event - the RP event was not made because of the screenshot. Understand?

Explain what? Your character could perhaps ask me a question about that in-game, assuming you were IC while you 'witnessed' this (which it doesn't even sound like you were).

Why object to doing it? Is it you have no reason, or because you are above it? Or is it because you follow a strict RP where you dont do such? In either way, it makes you seem afraid of something.

Ah, I noticed my own folly there as well. There arent many things that are based on screenshots in RP, I agree to that, there I cannot win, but I simply ask for an explanation of whether you were simply cheating on Calani (of course this being during her role as Queen) or if you were doing what Wren requested like a gentlemen does...

Get out of explainning yourself, since your obviously cannot. If you could, you'd save yourself the time (since you were so "tired) and simply answer... saving you a nights duration...

Explain the RP sense in having a Queen simply step down as a queen. I was IC talking to her about it, as was she. "Elder Wanderer Calani Moon (Dustari)" and I talked about it, she went off tag after telling me to go do something... o.o

Splke, if people would spend the time they waste on complaining with actual rping, GK would be the most rpish thing ever created. Also, if you see someone pk a newbie or someone who isn't in a position to fight back, did you ever post screenshots and complaints about their un-rp-ish behaviour? PKers and scammers damage the rp-idea, but I don't see anything wring with what is to be seen on these screenies. From a rping point of view, I'd rather inquire what you were doing, spying on two leaders. Were you planning an assassination? Or spy on them to gain a personal advantage? Stalking royals can be a capital crime, if you can't explain yourself.

The thing i see wrong witht he screenshots is that Wren, who is on tag, is ooc. Shes not following her own strict rules, Tseng, you were off tag, so it doesnt matter for you.

Hey did you happen to notice that I was standing below on the beach and, by the way, this story goes alot farther into RP then realized - this is the true story:

Wren and Tseng were RPing. (At that time, the Sagesun family was concerned about how it would look for Tseng and Wren, as friends, to be alone together when Calani sat as Queen of Dustari. To safeguard the reputation of Wren, she was constantly escorted by one of the Sagesun's.)

The interesting thing about your pictures - everything can be taken out of context and used against people when one is out to do so.

The conversation before and after these pictures would have explained the RP event. It astounds me that two young men would have watched this event to only take pictures of a kiss and nothing more. With this, I find myself wondering their curiousity and motive. In my mind, motive would be one of discrediting Tseng and Wren simply because they are leaders or because you have a grudge against them.

Now, that's what it is about - good RP. Let's get the story straight or don't even bother telling it.....

If that is true, then why wasn't Tseng on tag as well?

I don't think the issue is IC or OOC, I think Argo just wants to be nosey and find out what's going on between 'em ;p Oh and is it just me or did anyone else notice that those snapshots were edited to make the blood sabre on one of the characters look like an er..hm..how should I say this, erection? ;x

On a more general note... who said you can only rp on tag? RPing is encouraged while on tag, and ooc is to be marked as such while on tag, but what rules apply when you're off tag? As far as I know, there's no rule that you can only rp on tag...

Dustari was acually an active member of the Eastern Allaince even after the fall of Astri. But Dustari would've been attacked if everyone had known the truth.

First, let me clarify what I think Tseng's complaint is:

He does not have to explain himself, as 'King of Dustari' ic unless he is confronted ic.
Screenshots, are not an ic element: they are used to make photo albums of rp events, for the players' (not characters') benefit, but that's all.

As for the claim wren was after power, lol, she has an entire kingdom and is a member of the strongest family in the lands, unless you meant Tseng, but I doubt that was about power either.


All this thread is about is mud throwing.


Regarding RP on or off tag, well, if you are off tag, you don't have to be rping, but you can still be.


at Denori: Wren can be ic in the screenshots, it's the whole 'expo-zay' courtesy of an ooc player posting them in a forums that is not relavent to ic events.

Ask Spike said himself, he had been holding on to them for a while and Calani hasn't been Queen for a good while, so I do think it is fine time to drop the poporazzi bit.

First, Argo, names Argo, not Splke k? Thanks. Second, I was being a nosey elf, and had I actually been on tag and such, then I would of drawn more attention (longer names are seen easier) so I didnt go on tag..

I was spying on the two because I was at first going to ask Tseng something, but then I noticed they were talking, so, following in the RP my character is kind of used too, I decided to try to find out exactly what was goin on..

But, if I was charged with a capital crime, I'd be delighted to see if anybody could properly RP that... :) Plus, I was DAMN sure Tseng gave me the OK to spread the rumor... I did, but nobody seemed to care... so meh, why not just attack the Dustari forums xD

Honestly, I couldnt of taken the pictures that fast. I'd have to come up with a name and then wait for the slow ass save... So, I was just telling Akira the entire time (sorry Aki! :P)... As for Genesis (AFI) being there, he kindof was AFK the entire time...

I have no motive other then curiousity... I simply want to know what was going on, why they were kissing, and then why Calani isnt Queen.

Do I have a grudge against Tseng or Wren? No. Tseng and I have setteled our differences (for the most) and Wren and I, (including you) setteled ours back when after the Torankusu incident.

I've had these photos for maybe, 3 weeks from the time i started this thread. Calani was queen longer then that....

NOW, What I really want to know, is why all of a sudden, you dont remember me asking you that IC, you saying something like "Youll find out in good time" and then granting me permission to talk about it, saying itd be good to stir up the RP in this game, that now, suddenly you werent IC which would mean I couldnt use it in RP situation...

I OOC-ly said I didn't mind you telling other people. Nobody would really believe you/care anyway, what with the current state of the world. But, if they did, all the better - they would have been prone to RP.
