Am I dreaming?
 

I worked 2 hours on a level, when poof the leveleditor got a bug and deleted the level.
Nothing in ash tray of windows. Just deleted.

I really hate when this happens, all the work for nothing. When stuff like this happens, it just makes me not want to make levels for a long time.:mad:

Yep iam nearly so far to quit graal.
Something like this just cant be x.x .
iam hoping that i wake up and nothing happened and the file is still there-

Is the next step that graal formats windows / linux in a bug?

Are you sure the file itself deleted? Or is it just that you didn't save frequently, (or at all) and your progress was lost when the application crashed?

Some times, i get like

application error 23875+78234+75239+6879+7676489+

and then it close down, so i always save time after time,

also spamming wont get you anywhere, I anderstand that you are mad okay? But will it get better if you are banned?

The file was deleted by graal if noone broken in through my router firewall.
And i dont think so.

Perhaps you have a virus, or fautly hardware... Run a virus scan, and I don't know how to find out whether or not it's a piece of hardware...

I recently doubled my RAM and when I had the new stick put in, my computer would just reset on it's own, so I took it out and had it replaced with a new stick, it works fine now. ;)

So yeah, check those things out... Graal runs fine for me.

Graal just isn't going to delete a saved file.

I think you just forgot to save it.

The Graal level editor has always been funky.

This has never happened to me. Maybe it's conflicting with some other software or your operating system?

i converted them to nw witht his tool i guess the tool is just buggy and produced a mistake

Please do backups from time to time. Sometimes there are problems when you use addtiledef badly, or it has problems saving the npcs because they are misplaced, then it can happen that it is saving a 'green' level. It only happened one time to me, when i used non-existing tiles for the level. I will try to make it more protected against such things.

you mean the level died because i placed the npc to a bad place?

I sometimes get no player or hud or anything when I click play on the level editor, and when I open the editor again the level is just a blank screen.

When that happens I just close the file and reopen it, and my level is back good as new! Just saying something else that might happen to people ...

If you ever hit F4 and your level goes blank, then hit the x button and don't save. That is what I do and most of the time my level is the way it was the last time I saved before the error occurred.
