Tiles.
 

I will be posting various tiles I do here I guess.

So why not start off with this little one I roughed up for Wan...

The floor is kind of distracting, too much emphasis put on making it stand out, it'd be one of those tiles that hurts your eyes after awhile

The walls don't stand out enough either, it looks more like a wallpaper then an ice cavern wall,

But it tiles very well O.o

I was looking at it, and I knew something was odd, but i couldn't figure it out, i think that's what it is... @_@

Bloo is kind of right, there is definately too much contrast in the floor, and too little on the wall.
Other than that, I think your tiles rock very much :)

As Bloo pointed out, the ground does stand out a little much, maybe make it a shade darker?

Anyway, here is a screen of sailor moon ice level, so i take it dusty based it off it.

I never even played the game, nor did I use any sort of references.

I was talking to Wan on MSN and he said he need GFX help for his server, so I pixeled those up quick. I didn't base them off of anything.

they're not even remotely similar. unless you think the color of ice comes from that sailor moon game.

To repetive, fix the walls.

The walls are fine being repetive. The problem is they look to flat. Like you took a good wall texture and slaped it on a poly gon. What you need to do is give it depth so it doesnt look so flat. I think its the small ice cicles on the top that go over the wall that make it look so flat.

Doesnt matter, Roms are legal unless you dont own the game.

Roms _ARE_NOT_ legal... The Nintendo company has been asked this question, and they replied that they aren't legal under any circumstances... I think it was in one of their magazine issues, or on their website, I forget now...

i don't think she understands that reviving old threads is aginst the rules, i have seen her do it over like 5 times....is there no justice!?

I thought you were allowed to have roms for 24 hours, then they had to be deleted o_O

my pc is pass protected and no weirdos will come out in the country and invistigate my pc so if for some strange reason i have roms on my pc, it would only be because you cant get secret of mana 2 or any other cool snes titles anywhere else.

Yet their discussion on the Graal forums is not allowed iirc.
It is not like Nintendo makes the law, though.

It's their material, they're Nintendo games, even if they didn't develop or publish the specific game... Or something like that... I'm not positive, seeing as that I'm not a lawyer...

Yeah, the rules probably vary from country to country. For example, in America, it's illegal to swap music, with things like Kazaa, etc. But it's not yet illegal in Canada.

The ice barely resembles it O_o

Even if he did base it off of that:

1. Why would he bother getting that far in a Sailor Moon game?
2. I would imagine that one is a little difficult to find...


And,

3. That means Canada kicks arse 18.2% more then America does.
