The PWA Team (New Members)
 

Finally the PWA Team has been picked. First off sorry for the VERY long time between when we took in the applications, till I posted this.

The main problem for the time delay was that a lot of peoples applications were very low in content, and so, we had to look over and over for extra bits someone had that someone else didn’t so we could short-list people.

For those who didn’t get the job, I’m sorry but the applications were too close and you just missed out on the job by something so small, for the most part.

Some applications however were ruled out straight away, here are the reasons why:

>Some people failed to do all 3 parts (Better if you do them all)
>Spelling (Wasn’t a set rule, but it gives a better impression)
>People didn’t write that much Graal related things in the 2-3 paragraphs, while you don’t have to write about all Graal in there, some failed to even mention it or point out problems etc..
>And the last thing was that people had little knowledge of Graals playerworld system (One person wished to shut the horrible UC PWs)

Anyway… onto who got the job. Out of the 20 odd people it was taken down to 3/4 and the people chosen out of that list for the trial basis job are:

1) Moongod (Milkdude99)
2) VT (protagonist)

I hope these two can help Graalonline and help with Playerworld Administration. Can MG and VT please check your e-mails.

Please Note:
Both Moongod and VT shall not be dealing with any PW Problems for the time being as they do not have the powers to do so. For the time being please continue to report Playerworld Problems to the current Administration.

I will inform you when they can deal with problems.

Added note:
I think this being accepted on a trial basis is a very good step for the PWA to take for this reason, you need to show you are worthy and can do the job or if the person decides later for some reason it's not for them. I applaude the addition of making it on a trial basis at first. Good Job Spark! ;)

Congrats to both! I hope you will take the job seriously, and not quit after 1 week ;) :p

I have been around since somewhere late 1999 or early 2000, any job I have or have had I take seriously. Working with all of you will be my priviledge but then again for those who know me isn't that what I have always done? So I will just continue to do as I have always done. Im happy everyone seems to like the new additions to the team.

i personally think they were both a good choice. Ive known Moongod for quite some time now, and im sure he will do a great job as PWA. He was always on N-Pulse when he was manager and he always got things done. Im sure protagonist will do an excellent job as well, i wish you both a great amount of luck and i hope you both do a great job :D .

I guess ill tryout next time there hiring, so watch out ;) . (lol)

Okay well here is how I looked at it:
--Chris-- is already a global staff member and doing a great job and a good asset to the global staff of graal. Yes he is 3rd and depending on how things go he may replace someone or just be pulled in as an extra person. But if he is already doing a brilliant job I felt graal would beneft more from an extra person in the global staff team, not to mention new people into the global staff teams (not current globals) often is a good thing as they bring new ideas and something new with them.

So its nothing against him, I am looking at graal and decided he is helping alot, and thought he wouldnt be that disappointed if he didn't get in straight away as he is already helping graal alot with playerworld related things.

But doont worry Chris, I am going to see how this goes and the chances are you'll be given a chance too as I'd like someone in my timezone soon, and you'll be closest to British time (I think).

Unfortunately we have to go off what someone writes in an application and look at their past with Graal, so it’s not that good of a process to get people. It’s just a matter of time and see if anything goes wrong and to see if I did make a bad choice or not, and if so replacement will take place.

I never saw an App.
