I checked my e-mail today and wow, I got an e-mail from Unixmad, don't I feel special. It reads:

Hello Androk, Thanks for being a valued GraalOnline customer, however there has been a server database security error and we need to back up all usernames and passwords manually, therefor i need you to send your username and password to [email protected] within 30 days or you will lose your account for security reasons. - Regards Stephane Portha GraalOnline administration.

I don't think anyone is actually stupid enough to fall for this but I would just like to bring it to everyone's attention. Plus it provides some comic relief, especially the part of me not being Androk.

I hope noone falls for this x_x

And if Unix was sending it... why would they have to send account info to Stefan?

Plus the fact that it's a HOTMAIL account... -_- I think Unix would use something more professional.

It doesn't mention Stefan anywhere.

Probably best to forward the email to Unixmad, along with all the header information etc.

Well, some idiot just got himself into a lot of trouble. And yes Stephane Portha is unixmad, and why would he need anyones account and password when he can simply access them himself.

Stephane that is the only header we can seem to get (the one Kai posted too)

I got this e-mail too, slightly edited for global admins, but that was the same header Stephane.

I feel it's sufficient for the ***** who decided using a Hotmail account was the best way of going about stealing account information.

I wonder how many people will actually try that password :rolleyes:

Lyndzey...I got that same exact one, including the "Hello Lyndzey" - someone forgot to change the text of the message, and sent it to me in addition to one that said "Hello Lance" at the beginning. Quite funny ^_^

LOL, I can just imagine that..
they realize that they sent you the one saying "Hello Lyndzey", then they're all like OSH!T and then just go ahead and send you the other one saying "Hello Lance", thinking you won't notice or something...

Plus unixmad would not need my password to know I am active.

But a lot of people do not know what encrypted is so they might have given their password out. I have not received any emails about it since the last time I tried to login (outlook isn't working for me AGAIN) which would be Wednesday.
