Thank you,

Ducati

wow that's old
0.0!
I'd say 8/10ish... I could make up excuses why I think it should be rated that... but I just call them as I see them, and when I see that, the first thing I think of is "8/10"

Though, Ducati, you know 8/10 from me is high
:P
not much you could do to improve it.. maybe finnish the ground detail, other than that, I dunno... maybe a little too dark (just a little)

CasanovaCanavi 11-07-2003 10:48 PM

9/10

Your levels rock Ducati. :)

EsCanavi 11-07-2003 11:02 PM

i never realy used those blue tile yet... so i cant tell u if there eror thought... well it seem okay so 9/10

Loriel 11-07-2003 11:10 PM

Very impressive. You do not merely slap together random tiles, yet your choice of tiles is pretty creative :)

The diagonal part of the cliff tiles appear strange, though.

Eric_1337 11-08-2003 03:11 AM

I think you coulda found a better spot then right above a huge cliff area.

The floor tiles you have on the porch thing kinda give me a headache -.-...

You could have used some better tiles in there, but it's still alright.

6/10, I love using the blue tiles, so I obviously like it lol. this is a pretty high rating for me :d

Amplify 11-08-2003 03:34 AM

I give it a 9/10.

The building looks pretty interesting, and the lights are nice.

Zethar 11-08-2003 03:50 AM

omg that is honestly one of the best levels i've ever seen. 10/10 and good work. What loriel said x2 :D.
Although that tree at the bottom right doesnt really fit I don't think but still 10/10 ;)

Excellent use of the blue tiles, some of the best I have seen. :D

Just wondering..why does the grass on the right just cut off like that?

I don't know why, but the building seems a little wide.

Also, tree GFX = lose, especially over a cliff like that, its pretty odd.

8.5/10. NICE level O.O

I see a couple pick out the trees. I removed 2 of them, kepted one. Everyone knows what it is surpose to look like, so I took a full screen shot (so no lighting effect.. so please no comments of 'to bright', unless talking about the first one)

Anyway..

ETD, it is an older level, but I started it before I left for england.. and now I am back I got to finish it. (Also weird rating system)

Eric_1337, I am not sure how I can change the floor. I have look and failed to find a better way. Reason I put the lighting effect on way to take away from of the harshness. The building is surpose to be on a hight cliff, so would rather not change that personaly. And when you said 'you could of used some better tiles in there' May I ask how? I am open for all ideas on how to make my levels better.

Loriel, I fixed up the cliffing. Better I hope.

dorfindel, the grass was cut off like that because I hadnt finished tiling the grass :x That was going into another level there.

And thanks for the rest of the votes :)

Zethar 11-08-2003 07:56 AM

Yet again...Nice. Nice little plant things you made and theres not to much and not to little detail on the water. Good Job.

Loriel 11-08-2003 08:14 AM

Mhm, cliffs could still be improved, methinks (place one of those predefined cliff objects to see how the tiles were originally intented to be used), but it is quite fine now :)

Nick1988 11-08-2003 09:08 AM

2nd Level: 8.5/10, the castle is pretty impressive.

LegendaryAzreil 11-08-2003 02:04 PM

7/10 House Looks nice, all the detail looks nice. Except I didn't like the grass detail to much. :o

Crono 11-08-2003 05:52 PM

Everything looks good except for the grass detailing.

7/10

Ducati_Link 11-08-2003 06:05 PM

Iv never been great at grass detailing.
Anyone help with how I can make that area better?

Loriel, I took the cliffing from 2k1 to see how it was it could be done better... Hrm, cliffing isnt a strong point either.

Blitz_Hunter 11-08-2003 06:52 PM

Looks nice , except for some parts on grass detail but thats aight. 7/10

Androk 11-09-2003 01:46 AM

I love the way you use graphics to improove the level.

Note the Bush on a stick type thingy at the bottom left. And although the hanging green things have been overdone, it still improoves the overall feel of the level.

Also note the sweet use of light effects. I guess it's teh fact that dim lighting was used, but it actually is easy on your eyes and improoves the feel of the level.

Problems:

Bottom Left, see the brown fence thing, it cuts into the grass and into the shading. It can be easily removed, and replaced witha graphic to make it look alot better. Same is on bottom right.

Improovements:

Improove on the cliffs somehow, I see that you are able to disconnect them, so make a ledge type thing for the waterfall.

Improove water by adding a lillypod or something.

Rating: 9/10 (Very Good Level, but can still be improoved)

haunter 11-11-2003 05:17 AM

Impressive. I like it for the most part... One thing I dislike is how that pathway kinda goes jaggedey to the left on the very top, i like parrallel things ;)

protagonist 11-11-2003 06:04 AM

Lovely.

Blue is an excellent color, especially dark blue. It calms and soothes the human mind. I'll use your level for therapy.

10/10

Kaimetsu 11-11-2003 06:12 AM

7/10

It's all been constructed well, but the whole thing looks indistinct at first glance. It takes a little while to figure the perspective out.

Plus I think it'd look more majestic (if indeed that's the intention) if it were symmetrical.

Dude, wow.

9/10

Noone gets a 10, so basically you get a perfect score.

When I started building it, it was symmetrical. Yet to me it just seems to stight, to modern.. and just didn't look like it has depth. That's why it ended up a but more ruggered.

The fence is actully hiding a tile error I couldn't fix. I shall fix it with a gif.

I will add a ledge to the waterfall, and see what it looks like.

As for lillypod. Hrmm.. At the end of that level it leads out to the ocean. As this building is on a small Island. Just don't think it would look right.

That's what I don;t understand about those tiles... to me, they look metal/plastic-ish... but maybe they are ment to be stones... but blue stones?
o.0'
so, if your intention was to make it non-modern, then you must be useing them like stone...

Ducati_Link 11-11-2003 05:37 PM

I always saw it as stone, yes. I didnt belive graal would make churchs, and other things outta plastic - _ 0

I don't know about america, but in Australia you get something called 'blue metal' which is a blue and white specky rock.

NeoJenova 11-11-2003 09:12 PM

That building is very impressive, very eye appealing.

*stares*

You must show us more of your work...

Well, I'm not talking about the micro-scale stuff like paving stones. I'm talking about the architecture of the place.

Yeah, I was talking about the build too :\

I had it so it was all stright and in line. But just looked like a decorated wall.

Ah, which echoes back to my point about indistinction.
