Uhhh wtf? era accounts server down?

What the hellz?

Please elaborate/explain? I try logging on, and I get stuck on the "Loading Account..." screen, which I assume is what you're talking about.

Era isn't the only server to experience downtime. Classic Dev and a few servers went down (more than likely Era included in that first sweep). Then Classic and Kingdoms (and others) went down. I don't know why you people post on here about it, it's not as if they don't know what's happening.

Pitty RC wasn't created with legs, otherwise you wouldn't have got disconnected. :p (Excuse the incredibly non-funny joke.) The majority of playerworlds are down now.

Spark910 11-01-2003 02:38 PM

Its something im trying, shut off playercount to some, and then other playerworlds will get a playercount. JOKE!

It will be server problems no doubt.

Benm00t 11-01-2003 04:09 PM

Maybe its not so bad.... not often you get to see Shaded Legend as the server with the 4th largest amount of users heh.

I was about to post a similar WTF message, as UN is also down.

I restarted my server and it started working again, so i assume stefan would just have to restart the servers.

Indeed he does. Its the American servers that are playing around. He has restarted everyone, I think. But if you have a control panel just fix it by restarting it.

Admins 11-01-2003 07:01 PM

Ok Restarted all servers. The servers were up, but there were connection problems.

Gambet 11-02-2003 11:04 AM

yea, i was wondering why all those servers were down yesturday and only 4 were remaining, many people got on babylon and were acting as if terrorists had entered there house because they kept massing "Hackers!", but it's good to see the servers are back and working, except for that minor problem Unholy Nation experienced today when clev totally crashed the npc server but the problem is fixed and clev has been dealt with

Satrek2000 11-03-2003 12:21 PM

Well, I guess it happened again - I see kingdoms at 0, same with Classic, UN and 3 other PWs. I hope this connection problem gets fixed for good sometime, and someone drops by to restart the servers. A system would be nice which restarts the server whenever there are 0 users online... but if the servers fail, maybe the system will fail, too... anyway, please someone take care of this.

Thought 11-03-2003 12:26 PM

It isn't the system dying, the serves are likely still up -- the connection between the server and the internet has broken somehow.

Satrek2000 11-03-2003 02:33 PM

I know - but maybe there'd be a way for a program to check exactly that, trying to log in through some public proxies all over the world.
