Question concerning Guild Creation

K, first of all, I dont know if this question has been asked before since I just got my account for the message boards verified last week. Anyways, I've been wondering this for long, long while now: When will the guild creation system be working again? How long has it been down? Not like when it will be up to the exact second, just like an estimation.

As this is one of the most persistent mysteries in Graal's history, I doubt that you shall come to find its solution by posting a mere thread.
I believe that the most recent information avaible to us commoners is that Unixmad will be setting up a development box for Angel to rewrite the Guild CP. As the current guild system seems flawed, which I cannot really judge as I am not (really) part of any guild, one should not expect any changes to the guild creation policy before neccessary updates are performed.

I would not expect anything to happen in the next weeks, though.

Think -> Search -> Post.

It's about halfway down in this forum - not that hard to miss.

You'll note that the creator of that thread made the same mistake (though it was more blatantly obvious then, with 3 threads existing for the same subject).

Perhaps it would be appropriate to have a sticky explaining the current situation of the guilds thingie, updated by the responsible ones.

Unpredlctable 10-29-2003 02:51 AM

Hmm. I see. You know what would stop all of the threads concerning the subject of problems with the Guild CP? Just a sticky, titled, "If you have a question about the Guild Creation System not working, look here!" or something of that matter.

You really have a difficulty reading what's there, don't you? Loriel just finished saying that, in this very thread.

I think he was trying to expand on what loriel said?

Except for the fact that Loriel stated the same thing, and no expansion was necessary; all Unpredictable did was restate the obvious (what Loriel was replying to) along with Loriel's suggestion.

He suggested a name lol ;)

But I agree with them there really really really should be a sticky. The amount of guildCP threads is annyoing >:[

Tell us an amount of time. But, before you say it:
add three months to it.

Is that all?
Lots of things need to be worked on, graal official servers and itself, also someone should advertise.

I dont think it's a matter of us doing things slow, it's more of under-staffed situation. :(
