mech things
 

we need a server that has all mechs and you canget upgrades etc, i dunno if this is possible to script, are there commands for it? i dont know if this is the right thread, but i dont know what one to post it in, maybe a moderator could move it if it isnt x_X..

and I'd like to have somethin with mechs... but I dont have anyone that can script em... seriously if you guys want to do somethin I have all the money in the world... I just want to do some cool stuff but everyone dosent -.-

and DARKVILLAN is those things.... in fact, he tried to buy some stuff from my company with fake credit cards! also I helped him once and he took the tiles and said he made them... what a *******... anyway, whatever...

Well you wouldn't help me anyway. Because I suck at scripting so I wouldn't be able to script it. And was it those tiles that were blueish?

For a minute I thought azzy was referring to me.
But yes, DV is a thief and copycat. He stole my old level style, some of my work, and I didn't appreciate it.

Plus, I could never find a scripter who would be up to the challenge.

I was trying to work on a playerworld then realized about a month into it that I couldn't afford it so I sorta stopped.. *sigh*

forum for a PW that has been in the making for a while, we have a basic storyline going and we have alot of ideas to throw people in. We have alot of ideas for making it highly graphical and with lots of sound effects and music. If any of you are interested just go to that forum register and post away o.o


and he took some sand and water tiles (which sucked by the way) and was using them (I just made them to get a feel of how tiling sand would work) and then he stole some graphics for a water wheel thing.. and a bunch of other crap... anyway.. yea..

Blech, this robot stuff makes me think of power rangers. o.O ya know, when they were screwed up they get this big slow robot and rape the enemy who'd get an even bigger robot and they destroy Tokyo and then the powerrangers call Godzilla and pwn o.o It would be like, Era II, pwnage in teh future.

You really know nothing of Japanese culture do you? Giant robots have been around way before Power Rangers. I'm thinking they would want to make a playerworld something along the lines of Gundam or Zoids, or something similar.

I think it would be neat to see something like Zoids as an online rpg, but then again, I dont' think it's right for Graal. I mean, it would make an awesome online game, but that's for something of top game console quality. There are a couple reasons why this would not work on Graal:

1) The mechs would be huge. 4 people standing in one level would fill the screen. Unless you shrunk everything down, so that mechs were about 4 times the size of a player, and players were 4 times smaller than they are now.

2) It would lag. Huge graphics walking around animated and battling? It would be graphically challenging as well as slow.

3) The graphics. Unless they are good, and I mean really good, it would be stupid. You'd need someone that is willing to churn out more graphics than anyone could imagine. There would need to be new bodies, new tileset, and a whole mess of mechs of all shapes and sizes, with modifications, upgrades, color changes, and of course, all the animations such as walking, and all the attacks. Now multiply that by four, as that is the amount of directions you'd need, and you've got yourself graphics.

4) The scripting would be pretty difficult, and scripters these days are hard to come by. Try to find an advanced scripter that will put a lot of effort and time into your project. When you find one, kidnap them and force them to work for you. Because I've never met a scripter that would dedicate themselves for more than a few days at most.

you know... just because you say it cant be done... I'm probably gona give it a whack :D

my team could probably do it, I just need some scripters familiar with gscript

right now I have.... angel and zega that would most definetly help maybe I can convince riot and jagen -.- maybe some of my team could improvise and learn some quick gscript :D

All we need is graphics, and ganis, and scripts. Matter of fact, I can make the ganis and scripts, I just can't make big mech gfx. Azzy, do you think you could pay for a playerworld and me and you and whoever else could work on it? If you think about it, it could probably be pretty simple. Just replaceani/gani (whatever, i know the scripts, i just am not on offline) scripts and add damage stuff..
