I have been at ogma's altar praying with more than 150 base grace for about 3 hours straight now, trying to get the bracers, but I still have had no luck...
Can you even get them anymore?

Is your grace doubling up to 300? Also remember that they're rare, so even if you get a buch of luck items it'll still take awhile, but I don't know why it's takign so long for you. Guess you're just unlucky, you'll get them eventually.

It's been like 4 hours now, still nothing. I get the helmet like every 6 minutes or so, I just drop it since I don't want it.
my grace ends up more than 150/300, so that isn't the problem.

I don't know what the problem could be. You could try asking someone with debug if they can get it, and if they can then I guess you're just unlucky. :|

Gah..i wouldn't mind a helmet of ogma..:o

I wouldn't mind if each god had at least 2 artifacts, balanced in all and unbalanced by means of giving weaknesses as well as advantages according to the god's favors - I specially would like to see Bile getting artifacts, and I'd sacrifice up to 75 sustenance for one... :rolleyes:

Seems rather decent until you see that bomy lord helm, which isn't overpowered at all... :rolleyes:

I never saw this post before, but look at it this way:
You are a level 23 barb/priest/whatever.
You have Ogma's Orc Helmet.
You have an Evil Bomy Lord Helmet.
You give youre Evil Bomy Lord helm to a high level friend, along with 6 EAs, and they make it +6.
You can only use 3 EAs on your Ogma's Orc Helmet, since relics disappear when you drop them.

That makes having the orc helm useless, unless you somehow think that 1 dex is more useful than having 2 more AC and 11 more damage.

If your dex is 28-29, that one more point will increase your speed so much, though most people these days would rather have more damage than speed.

Good point, I guess, but anyone with dex that high is more than likely rich enough to buy the proper items to raise it higher x.x

Stop dropping Ogma Orc helm ? That shouldnt be happenning.... o_O 50/150/300 are the grace requirements for low/medium/hard ... Theres something wrong with it obviously o_O and if it still doesnt work, then *laughs irl @ u* :p

I know what the thread's about - I was referring to Splke's post, which I find quite confusing.

Try gaining physique levels and bless the weapons.

Every Physique level you get will lower it by 1. Also, while your physique level is 1, every overall level will lower it by 1, but as soon as it increases to level 2 physique, it'll go back up.

I believe you need 16,000 exp to get to level 5.

sorry, Im having trouble in the mine, there are no mining stone things, if its a lag, it has been going for 4 days now.

You will never encounter stones in the rooms with the cart tracks - you can pickaxe them from the cracked walls, and bring them to the stonemills outside the mines to have them crushed. You'll receive 1 item for every 5 minerals. Usage of the mine cart is recommended, as it allows you to carry an additional 80 minerals.
You will find stones in the deeper regions, which give 1 item per mineral.

Besides: using the commands /statistica and /skills gives a pretty clear image of when to expect a new level.

Him getting the Ogma Orc Bracers. o_O Stop dropping the orc helm, and maybe you can get the orc bracers (in a you need to be lvl 1 to get to lvl 2 sort of way)..

I don't think that's the reason... I rather think it's because the bracers aren't up yet, or so I heard.

They're most likely up, just probably rare, or maybe you're just not lucky enough ;)

I guess I'd have to be really lucky if Bile'd ever give me Ogma's bracers anyway ;)

I can live without the bracers or being DM - my point was that I won't get them either way ;). It's just that I was told they weren't avaliable... seein how a few people did pray for a long time...

Yes - there are. In the stone-mine on the left small inner island, you can find a few till you make your way to the deepest room which has a sufficient supply. In the other mine, the "gold"-mine, you can fine stones pretty close to the entrance.

Then my guess would be that you are lacking the proper gfx - so there are stones, you just don't see them. Check whether you have jrocks2.png in the webgifs folder, maybe delete it to see whether the server reloads it properls.

1 last question, I have 2 pets, I try to name my pet but it goes direcly to my other pet, can someone help me

Leave one pet somewhere else when you want to name the other. :o
