just starting bug
 

I mentioned this a while back, it still happens:

people get off the starting island, but have never chosen a class.

somehow, they bypass the whole rolling stats and choosing class

I see them, and usually they have 30 min or less, and I help walk them through hiding their items and restarting


Can a script catch if the class field is blank....and if it is blank when they just started, move them to the real starting point?

If they can bypass it the first time, whats going to stop them from passing it up every time it warps them back?

I don't nessecarily mean via a warp, and the players I talk to never saw the select screen to start with, they always say "This game has classes?" or something.

It is some bug that causes them to bypass it when they first start, if they do /restart, it takes them to the right place every time and they complete it okay.

if at the warp in start spot with the old man ani and all that tested for a class field value not empty, and if it is, functionally do a /restart, then it would probably fix it for them.

Same happened to all the three Horns, and I for one have no idea what playing without a class should be good for, i.e. why anyone would actually want to avoid the rolling and selection screens.

Just out of curiousity, what would happen if you did '/tag add class' if you didn't have one?
