For reasons too numerous, I think it is time I say goodbye to the Zormite Republic, and maybe g2k2 in general. I have been running Zormite kingdom for close to 10 months, so this is a pretty big step for me. :(

I've been through alot with alot of people. I appreciate and thank everybody who contributed to the Zormite community, past and present. I have missed many of them for some time, and now I get to miss them all.

Usually for things like this I have a very long speech to address the situation..but for this I am more or less speechless. I am leaving the republic to Wren, and I hope that what I have created is preserved and carried on in my absense. Yes, I had been planning it for some time, critics of my policy allowing Wren to advance so quickly did not know that generally. Her leaving Dustari and joining Zormite was the result of a meeting I had with Padren, Zoe, and Wren a long time back...when I had first realized that I cant carry on my kingly duties for much longer. I trust Wren, and she has my utmost respect, takes the game very seriously and approaches it maturely. She also has strong ties with Dustari.

From the very first kingdom wars in the young g2k2, Dustari and Zormite were always very close. We should have stayed that way. This tradition was established while Aftershock was still running Dustari. We were the only 2 nations which truly stood up for good during dark times...and even today to some.

The close kinship which we once had needs to be focused on once more. Dustari and Zormite should be friends, good friends. I hope Wren will see to it that this happens.

I had hoped to announce this AFTER I had gotten the Zormite shields out..but there was a series of unforseeable delays which has slowed that process down...and I cannot continue to play both sides of 2 opposing factions growing within my kingdom.

I will still try to play some role in Zormite for a while, but this is my official statement of resignation...so yea...and the shields will be released SOON!!! The sword I will still get out to you guys, but I need to wait for that new scripting stuff before I can do that.

Hmm..I guess I did kinda end up with a little speech, afterall.

I had hoped to finalize everything by today, but I got called in for work unexpectedly and I just got home a little while ago. Anyways, the end. :(!!

Well...erm...this comes as a bit of a shock to many..

It sure does. I can't really believe it, though Zen wasn't on so much...

Well, i think i'll talk to Wren and Morpheus about some things that are important.

You are a good leader Zen, there should be a statue of the Republic's founder in every town of Zormite.

Zen, you're a good person, and a good leader, but I will always hold it against you that you did not keep up the Zormite Tradition.
