Hiring Playerworld Staff
 

I am currently hiring for a certain playerworld, which will remain nameless at this point. I am seeking staff for any and all Development positions, those being:
-----
Developer (All-Around)
LAT
NAT
GFX
Audio Development (Which would include, sound effects and Midi effects)
Role-Play Team

As well as some lesser staff positions, for monitoring and testing purposes. GP for keeping unruly staff in line, since I’ve noticed this quite a bit on a few other servers, and I believe that (a) neutral referee(s) would useful. ET’s, for testing as well as a few extra minds for the entertainment department.

At this point I do not wish to release information about the playerworld, nor it’s major intentions/goals. I will say, however that it will be geared toward the -Fantasy- Genre, meaning:

1) Fiction characterized by highly fanciful or supernatural elements.
3) The creative imagination; unrestrained fancy.

In other words, there will more then likely be several elements of play at work.
--On another note to all who wish to apply:
If you expect to receive ‘uber staff powers’ right off the bat, then you are horribly mistaken. My current staff team has created NPC weapons that will provide you with the tools needed to do your job and nothing else. Only higher staff positions will receive RC and, even then, they will only receive what they need to do their job . Again, in other words, if you’re a power hungry little *******, you need not apply. ;)

hmm sounds nice i just might apply (i love fantasy rp servers with a great interactive intergrated storyline) here are just so many servers out there that want to hire me i just dont no who to work for o.o

Dev servers don't need GP, ET, etc... It's in the new playerworld rules, might hunt them down if i were you.

To my understanding, the ET/GP comment was directed towards RC access. Which I will -not- be giving to them. The GP role at this point would be directed more towards peacekeeper amoung staff, and ET's would double as an Idea Team and Testing Team. Bleh.. Whatever though. :\

Well it was aimed towards RC and rights yes. But as well as they are pointless on an UC PW. The ET douybling as ideas and testing is a good idea, but GP as peace keepers between staff isn't... you should be able to do that your self.

I have a GP Chief, try and stop me. :P

Have what you like, he just doesn't need an RC or rights... Verbal agreements for positions when the server is released are fine.

You should get a few good staff members. But don't hesitate to fire the lame ones. I hope you can demo some screens in the future in here?

hehe but there are times when i have to wait for other people to finish with what they are doing before i can even carry on with any thing else...i mean sure there are always small little thing I can do but those really arent needed till we have a good strong story expressed in levels and npcs that we can release to public eyes

Lol all these people trying to come off all hard against PWA.. I wouldn't ignore their rules, they will beat you down!
