New classes

i really think we should have a few more classes, and make them only be able to use whatever they do(if you dont get that, i mean make sure barbs cant do what they do and such)

my idea was a spellsinger

Spellsinger: This class would attack by using a flute. When it plays ceartain songs spells shoot out. There could be a seperate shop to learn these songs at, and you must have the book learned to use the song. and the higher the spell level the longer the song

How about they put back some of the classes they took out?

Spellsinger? I'm sorry but that sounds kinda lame ^.^;; (probably because the kid next door is 'ALWASE' using that same thing, and I'm just against it... Otherwise it might sound cool, but noooo, annoying kid ruined it for me, Aengus! Smite the kid! Er.... o.o;;; *cough*)

That sounds like a neat skill though ^.^ unfortunately, people are gunna end up pounding the notes threw as fast as they can and it'll soon become the most annoying skill known to mankind!!! *huffs* Maybe add some new instraments for some different magics, like a lute, harp, violen, piano.... er... scratch the last one...

(edit) oh yeah, and the class system is just a starters kit, it's only for the tital isn't it? Don't limit us to what we pick, what if priest gets this super horrable disad and to get rid of it I'd need to spend 2 days rerolling to make up for all the stat potions I drank?! :|

(Permanent Stat Potions Quaffed: one)

(edit 3) oops! 2nd edit I hit "quote" instead of edit x.x!!!!
Ahem... My exp, my spells! My skills! I have at least 20k worth in skills, er, maybe not, but close! *whine* Don't force me to live with a dissability just cause I choose not to lose my skills :(

(edit 4: changed "20" to "20k")

i didnt mean to name it spellsinger, it was the first thing that came to mind, and i think some skills should be limited, but not all, to make classes have perks

Satrek2000 09-21-2003 01:01 PM

Why not make it so that certain skills are better for some than for other classes, by means of skill-specific luck... just an idea...

We need a monk class. Then we need quarterstaffs. Then Karsh would be happy.

Qwert616 09-21-2003 05:52 PM

We need classes to be more than starting packages first. ;x

The Monk class on CF can't use weapons, but they do get a skill called meditation that increases your hp/sp when you use it, and you can't be wearing armour to use it. Plus they naturally start with karate :P
