Graal for sale?
 

I was talking to WC a while back and he told me Unixmad had graal for sale for 2,500$, Is this true? I dident think so but I wanted to make sure because if it was I'm sure a lot of us would buy it lololol.

Warcaptain? If so, I highly doubt its true. The kid used to make claims about helping me script. :\ If I ever needed help with scripting, I'd turn to one man.

Um no, it's not true. The Cyberjoueurs website used to tell prices of their products but they removed it a long time ago...

You can supposedly buy a LICENSE for Graal, but you cannot buy Graal itself.

If I remember correctly, the license was like 25,000 dollars, not 2,500.

What a waste of money.

Doubt is true, like someone stated earlier... However If that came to be true... graal would go corrupt.

this year must be 1 of the highest, because of those 100ish UC server costing the managers $, and all the $ needed to reupgrade the expired accounts so they could work on them... probably $1000 (USD) per server or more?

If i remember correctly when i was checking out their website a year or two ago you could purchase a license to start your own playerbase using the client and gserver applications...

Not concrete though, just my interpretation

They used to sell stuff like

You'd walk to a playerhouse and CJ would sell stuff like
'YOUR BUSINESS NAME HERE'

I think its all a plot against Stefan. One day stefan is gonna wake up straped to his bed and his PC is gonna be gone. Then Unix is gonna move to Russia and and use graal to bombard the US with bombs.

The site has been like that now for quite a while.

I'll just buy Graal for 100,000 - 1,000,000 sometime after medical school (Neurosurgeons make a lot of money, heck, GP's make a lot of money). Sure, it'll take me 1-5 years to pay off, but I'll do so with tax writeoffs and therefore own Graal without actually paying money :o

Even if you could pay 100 grand for it, what would be the point? You don't get all the staff that goes along with it. Stefan is the coder for it, and you wouldn't get him in the deal, so you'd be left with a dead product. You'd never earn back that 100 grand in profit, so I think it would be a bad decision.

Stefan and Unix would just take that 100k and put it towards making an even better online game.

Which game would they base it off of? Anyone smell 'Sonic Online' coming?!

Basically, it lets you legally set up your own Graal server(s) and put whatever you want on it. You can also charge money for accounts, etc.

So, your saying, basically being a stefan or unixmad? And, is that up? I mean, If it is 1000 people probably have it. x_X

It isn't as simple as just running a GServer.
