New Auto-Programs!

I bet you guys have seen this advertised. New Auto-Programs! Auto-D! Auto-S! Well, these programs are fake and probably steal your passwords, which is why a so many people are running around yelling "I was HACKED!"... Frankly, you weren't hacked, you just used a program you shouldn't have.
Here I will list some things you should never do, for the new players who probably don't know of the sick and mean things that some people do to each other.

1. Do not go to ANY LINKS on ANY website that a player tells you unless he is your friend.

2. ALWATS have a anti-virus program open. (Norton, McAffee, etc)

3. Trainers and Auto-Programs steal your password so you shouldn't even try to "cheat the system" or you will get cheated.

- And in the event you use a trainer, or anything like this, you should change your passwords as soon as possible, this includes your email and your Graal password. And maybe even your forum password. There's a password changer on the website.

And in the very RARE occasion that you were hacked innocently, you either had a password thatwas too simple or you shared an account with someone who stole it.

Lyndezy is very helpful if you need help.. So there's her
email and stuff. Speaking of lyndzey, The account of the
person I saw massing the auto-programs earlier was
Zell2003 (not to be confused with zell12)

auto a, auto s, auto d are very old...i have heard about them about 2 years ago...when 2001 FIRST came out

The thing is all the jobs on graal 2k1 are so easy all you have to do is press D and its done. You cant tell if someones using auto D or not. They should make the jobs take more human skill rather then pressing D all day.

The account Zell2003 was on GK massing it then PMing it to everyone privatly. :\

Very old. Still, if players are stupid enough to get these programs themselves, it's their fault. If one uses common sense, it would be elementary to conclude that such programs are disallowed.

It's easy for me to tell, if I am suspicious you go help them out, and if they are using one, it will get done faster and their character will continue to work, or if they pause right before they finish or right after they finish every time it is usually also a sign, and the extra swing or two after each thing is noticeable. ALSO if they make faces it will usually show the :( type thing for a second then BAM it quickly changes to :D. Just my dime.

I have to add something to this... If you download a trainer or auto program, you need to change ALL your account passwords. This means, every single account that you've used on Graal on your computer. Because these pass stealing programs don't just take the most recent account and pass, they go in your registry and get every single account and pass you use.

Some people have multiple accounts, or have access to friends accounts (although you shouldn't as that is account sharing). So you're not only endangering your main account, but every other account you own, and possibly your friend's accounts as well.

I only think these issues arise because of how BORING graal gets when you just press D for 10 minutes to craft a mineral. Maybe some other combinations or something, but D is just.. mental stress and wear and tear on the keyboard. You know once you press that button so many times it will stop working.

draygin 09-19-2003 04:39 PM

Maybe making it more fun like for crafting you have to press random arrow keys until its done. That way its not the same boring d over and over.

Also just out of curiosity how can an auto D program be bannable when it doesnt interact with graal in any way? All it does is press the D key on your keyboard over and over. Unless there is some rule where it says you cant run any other programs while running graal?

I'm also curious how some one could even prove this. Since I've been watching TV while pressing d over and over only to look at my screen and see people asking me if I was using a program since I wasnt answering them and the item was done. (you gotta do something to kill the boredom)

I believe it's contained within that clause which deals with third-party programs. If not, it's in the part that deals with trainers. :)

anything we didnt know already u can tell us? :asleep:

bo0ey 09-20-2003 01:41 AM

Sorry about my bad grammar before. I am just warning
people because these programs will either steal their
passwords, crash their computer, both, or make them
drop all their items when it is ran... I am just trying to
help out. I am sorry if you dont see the meaning of this
thread. :(
