Graal for XBox

Ok i think that when graal comes out for X-Box it should be like .hack//sign because aside from the storyline of the show... it would seem that it is a really leet game and since XBox allows voice chat the game would seem more real. However i think that the game should have a few different playerworlds (2-4 not 40) which could be a few different types of games (i.e. Server like the show, server in the distant future, GTA3 type server, and maybe a modern server. who knows maybe they could all be connected like different time periods of the same planet)

btw i am also inferring that graal would be fully 3d like the screenshots of Graal 3D Fresh Meat Demo

Dude, they couldn't get the scripters to do a GBA version of Graal, there ain't no way in heck that they will get enough to do an XBox vesion.

Never gonna happen. If you ask me, the players of Graal are just people who want to relive the feel of Zelda without the use of a Nintendo, and with the effect of communicating with others. Now obviously, Zelda has past it's time, and now people who play Graal are kind of, well, stuck in the past, gaming-wise (at least for the Classic servers). If anything, Graal should be on Game Boy Color or Super Nintendo. Both of them are pretty much dead. :(

Porting Graal to Xbox would be a waste of time. Who besides current Graal players would purchase a game like this for an Xbox? If they couldn't get help for porting Graal to GBA, I don't know how they would get help porting it to Xbox anyway.

Yes, exactly, this would never happen. I'm surprised Stefan is actually scripting 3.0 still. :o

No, NON ONOO!

Let them finish the guild system, 3.0, the new script engine blah blah before they try to port ANYTHING.

I'll keep saying no unless there is proof that if it happens it will be done 100% right, but I do think it would be fun for a bit to run in a fully 3d Classic(Graal the Adventure)

-better idea- boot linux or windows on your Xbox, put Graal on it, then play then smash it to bits for the better of mankind

there is a much better chance of that happening than a fully developed nextgen game being made of graal for any nexgen console

*wonders what Tyhm is humming*

Because I pay more attention to the announcements than the average bear?

Sure, it may give people a chance to run graal at a good speed... but, it definately is not worth the hassle.

It has been brought up before, but it will not happen, at least not for a while.

Best idea is for Stefan to continue with Graal on PC's...
Oh... if anything it should be ported to PS2...

Another way to full graal piggy bank? Well it would be a very cool way for graal to expand there community but for one i love how graal kingdoms is just it doesn't have much updates as it use to have before. Anyways what am saying every graalian love new features and stuff how would that be downloaded to your x-box?

adam 09-15-2003 02:44 PM

Bottom line for me:

If it ain't got scripting, it ain't worth it.

How is 3.0 relavent to xbox in anyway? I fail to see your logic, he's coding it in c++ because cross platform support is better for it as a lot of people who play also dual boot a linux distribution or mac OS X
