Industrial Revolution
Some where in the future, Graal Kingdoms should have a Industrial Revolution. News weapons appear like the musket, a little stronger then crossbow but way longer to reload. All the Kingdoms get to be able to build different war machines, like for example "Dustari War Scarab", a mechanical vehicle with wood plated armor and has one large cannon.
It should be balanced out though so everyone doesn't go get guns and abandon magic and Graal Kingdoms won't be what it was ment to be anymore. |
It seems like an alright idea, and if you ask me, Magic would always have the advantage over guns, since guns are physical objects which have to deal with armor (or AC), whereas magic is a force of energy.

I'd pick a player seeking bullet over a musket anyday :P
|
I'd like to see that player seeking bullet go faster than a beach ball tho =(

i like the idea of an industrail revolution, steam boats, maybe some new jobs also :D!
|
Well i don't x.x
With guns and such it would be very era'ish and that aint good |
It won't. Era is totally guns with about 20 different guns. We 'd have one gun, the Musket. You can't aim with a musket like you can with Magic Bullet. It takes to load. And it needs bullets. It would be an improved bow. And yes, we need some war machines, like those big towers on wheels o.o

Well the musket bullet would go REALLY fast, but long reload time,
and it isn't like the kingdoms will become gangstars and trade weapons and crap, but it would be nice |
Yes, this is a good idea.
But it needs to be brought along slowly. This can open up more jobs for money and such. Overall I think it is a good idea, just because a server has guns doesn't make it Era. Era's guns are just like bows with bullets... |
and much lag!

War machines would be good, if forts are added, craftable with iron, wood and logs, giving protedtion to those pushing it forward, maybe with the ability to use a ram to take down the enemy's walls at some places, or enabling players to overcome them - ladders or these mentioned large siege towers. They wouldn't require an industrial revolution either, which I think wouldn't fit kingdoms at all, and would not improve the game...
