7.5-8/10

Nice rating from me ;)

Nick1988 09-10-2003 06:53 AM

Nice work. 8.5/10.

Tseng 09-10-2003 06:55 AM

You overdid it with the tile which is shallow water with spots of normal water.

Shaun 09-10-2003 07:03 AM

You did really really good except for when it came to the building, then it kinda went not so well =\

Practise on your buildings and things should go well

Well, even if that was original, I just really can't stand the style of houses that appeared sometime between now and a year and a half before now. Ladder tops for flooring??? Meh, I'm all for originality, but when everybody and their dog starts doing the same pattern and proclaims anything else is bad levels if they don't use it just really gets on my nerves. Sorry for ranting.

Yes, be original. Come up with the next big design for uninspired level makers to copy.

I'm trying to be nice about this and express my view at the same time, sorry for any toes I stepped on =\

negative, the detailing is fine sunny-jim... have you not heard what everone has been saying about being able to walk in a level? That applies for this level as well.

LoL , Its plain grass and bushes , not the most attractive detailing...

Adding flowers and hammer stake things and fences and mushrooms and stuff like that is going to CLUTTER the small area that he does have grass in. You have to know when to use the right amount of detail in a certain situation. Try adding the stuff you want to make it look more "coloful" and see what happens :D

Hammer stakes , mushrooms , are nasty and should be deleted from tile set , Still using plain grass detail can be made better with the right placement

So now it's okay to use grass? At first you said you wanted color now you want better placement?...

...make up your mind.

LegendaryAzreil 09-12-2003 05:09 PM

Mushrooms and them little rocks are ugly. But there are others choices in detail than grass.

CasanovaCanavi 09-12-2003 05:21 PM

Nice. Great ground detailing. I like the house, it's nice.
Add some water ripples like ETD said, and get rid off some of those shallow water spots like Tseng said and your all set. :)

yes that's me.

draiden0 09-13-2003 03:11 AM

Is that you paradox?! It's me sagema! The creator of Ithica. We were on the top ten for a few months about a few years ago. What have you been up to?

dorfindel 09-14-2003 12:18 AM

I don't really like the way you did the detailing...but it's not bad. Very good tiling of the beach :O...I suck with those tiles (only because I never used 'em :o )...but umm 7.5/10 nice building as well.

o.O I never said anything about adding color

draiden0 09-15-2003 08:57 AM

Do you know how old I am to graal? Over 3 years. I used to chat with Geovinnie, Bravo, Paradox, Graal 3000. What happened to graal3000? Anyways I'd like to thank them for all the help they gave me when I was working on Ithica. Nice to see they are still working as hard as ever.

Oh! The picture! I'd say 3/10. Soooo many people do grass and trees, with water. Do a dungeon. Or give it a neat feature, like a boss monster. Anyone, and everyone can make the all mighty graal house, trees, and grass. Players need room to roam around. I get stuck in sooo many trees. So annoying.

So...?

alarid0 09-15-2003 11:37 AM

-_-
it really pisses me off when people try to proove something to other people by stating how long they've been playing graal in their profiles and such. and now on the forums too? :o honestly nobody really cares...what *DO* you have to prove?

draiden0 09-15-2003 06:19 PM

-So...?-

Just saying. I've kinda been out of the loop for a while too. I guess it's obvious. I always believe it's better to give people a little back ground about yourself, just not a lot. To know where they are coming from.

Or maybe your just making this all up to cover for your mistake..Hmmm...

draiden0 09-16-2003 11:15 AM

What mistake? Geesh, you can't even be remotely friendly on these forums without some stressed out person barking their version of the world, and their interpretation on how much they dislike you.

I was reffering to your mentioning of you playing Graal for 3 years. I don't mind people being friendly, but I don't care about how long people have played Graal for.

For the record, I don't dislike you though. :)

FreezeBurnX 09-17-2003 01:18 AM

8/10... I just didn't like the house, ugly...

draiden0 09-17-2003 09:07 AM

Ok, maybe you didn't read what I wrote above there. So I'll ignore what you wrote. Because in big bold letters I said, "It helps to know where people are coming from!"

TheStivi 09-24-2003 04:53 PM

WoW !!!
:)
looks very nice
i cant build it better
my first 10/10 Rating :)
