Graveyard

I suggest we make a graveyard and everything and statues for all big important guys who quit gk:
Loriel,Boukon,Voodoo Master, and many more

deman1171 09-07-2003 07:28 PM

......
That would be stupid.
MAYBE Kingdom graveyards but i dunno.
Seems un-official, classic, stupid.

DragonX 09-07-2003 08:45 PM

Your graveyard consists of players who are high leveled, with the exception of Loriel. If one was ever made, people such as Er1c, Garel, Pir, and others should be placed there, not just people who were high leveled.

Too biased...

Maybe a graveyard would be nice, but wouldn't contain any persons.

Graal Kingdoms is in need of some new areas, like ice caverns and graveyards though.

Ghosts would be a good thing for magic users to try their hands at.

Yes! Ice caverns! They should make more non-treasure map dungeons (as of now, the only ones are the 2 HH's and the underground dungeon where you fight T-rexes and wolves). The next one should have monsters better than T-Rexes. Maybe they should make that one be an ice cavern you get to from the mountain that Igloo town is located on.

Edit: Also, the graveyard idea got me thinking.... there should be undead monsters for priests to be able to kill by healing. A dungeon of these guys would be nice.

If a priest could kill undeads with healing, followers of Bile would be screwed.

Just because they follow Bile doesn't make them undead.

Cast probe on a bile follower, you will get the message "It is an undead force" along with the regular message.

Agreed. Putting any specific players in it would be foolish and biased.

No, I say you make your own graves for RP purposes and such. Example:

Borgie 09-08-2003 04:53 AM

Yea... but that one has been destroyed
its great to do things yourself, thats what graal makes so much fun (remember the improved building sugestion?)
but its not really possible :(

In the original mudlib there was a gravestone each time someone died, it was time but they got annoying after some time :)

We could do a graveyard with zombies as monsters to fight against, like an outside-haunted house.

Player-built gravestones would be interesting too, may be a general 'memorial' stone or so? Where you can write on before it is planted, so you can read special text when right-clicking it. And only members of the same kingdom can destroy it.

Hehe I remember that Stefan... and they we're worth 1 plat each but each weighed like... alot...
You know... there are things besides haunted houses ;)

And the thing about kingdom members destroying things? that is kind of a problem... People don't seem to have any respect for other's work and they like to destroy things for no reason at all... Maybe the destroying of walls/fences/gates/etc. should also be H right only...

You should bring back the tombstone for people
who are killed deuling... Instead of the green finger..

I mean humans have SKIN colored fingers, they only
turn green after a long time. And im not even sure they
turn green, I think they turn black.

Anyway, I think it would be nicer to bring back the
gravestone for players who are killed. :(

What Ed said made me remind of the annoying facts that:
a)Fortresses are USELESS, if you're offline some mad-guy can easily destroy them
b)i made a real cool one and the above hapenned o.o

Make Earth-do-Dust range less... Like, about 3 fortications...

And Graveyards can be made.

And we do need stuff like evil zombie graveyard :o and ice cavern! Mh maybe i/someone could make the ice cavern with the zormite tiles...
