Graal Icon Challenge!
 

I thought it would be fun for everyone to try if they wanted and even if you don't know how to make a icon file they can post it as bmp or whatever and if people like it they can make it a .ico file.
The reason I want a new Graal Icon is because well I have windows XP and it looks ugly with all the nice icons and such that I use.

If we get alot of entries we will have a vote for the best and winner gets a prize.

I myself will be entering but Im waiting to see what people do.

came out better than I thought it would O_o

Someone should make an animation to show how the Graal icon is really just a mix of Fung Si Yang and Ninji Knight. It took me a while to figure that out myself.

I like it but I guess I wasn't clear enough on what I meant.. I mean like XP made new icons which look alot better then the old Microsoft Windows ones and what i am saying we need a Graal Icon to go good with XP icons. =)

I used a gradient on the face, decreased the fill, and changed the hair/eye color.. not a lot, but it still looks ok. I'm not a big graphics guy

I really suck at graphics, and will probably work on it later.

I made the ogrinal and then Tyrial yes Tyrial helped me and added some nice shading and fixed the bottem part of the outline a little bit. Hes really a nice guy.

If Graal was about drinks.
I think a graal head needs to be used, but enhanced.
OR a letter 'G' thats cool.

I suppose I should try, I'll add another post when I'm done my icon.

Ahh... but Classic graal is based on collecting the four graals, plus the white and black ones as well I suppose.

Contrary, Graal isn't being advertised for classic anymore so I suppose something based on G2k2 would do well?

It does a great job of matching the XP icon scheme and accurately reflects Graal.

With your current version, yes indeed. However if somone did do a fancy 'glassy' grail it would look nice indeed.

K well here is my black one tell me if its good.

I agree...

added a few highlights, makes it look a little more like a glossy/glassy obsidion type surface..

Bowl needs glossifying but im not sure how to do it well...
Maybe a bigger lip with a shine?

I like it, tho if you put some of those weird XP effects (the strange glow) it would look better, you can get a program to do that effect

Thats cool. EXCEPT when its put into an icon size.. it wouldn't be any good. Its a good image.. but not as an icon [unless you can figure a way to do it]
