Suggestion

I have a suggestion for Crescent Pirates. Let's fortify our villages with stone fortification. I'm going to mining plenty of stone (right now I only have about 200), and I'll be more than happy to donate as much as I can to have our towns gated in. Isn't it scripted so that only members of the kingdom can use a gate we build and place on our kingdom's island? This would also be interesting for people who have houses on CP, but are in other kingdoms ;)

I don't know if there's any point in having kingdom suggestions though. We, the RPers, still have much to deal with (like HORRIBLE RPing on GK...inactivity of kingdom leaders...etc.). But I just thought it would be an interesting thing to do. Pirates wouldn't be very nice people now, would they? Why would we allow ANYONE into our towns? :p

Sounds good to me, and those we do allow in we can take to see our ships and make them walk the plank
mwhahaha
:p

Earth to dust? How does that work? What is it? x_x

DenoriZakarum 09-03-2003 02:45 AM

its a spell and when used it knocks down like 20 fortifications at a time

What level? How much sp does it cost?

DenoriZakarum 09-03-2003 02:52 PM

It wouldn't work because earth to dust can knock down too much. Maybe if we could make it so it were magic resistant and stuff but if we can't there would be no point.

it would be a silly idea as it would destroy what we are as pirates....that coming from you ziro was a surprise

pirates are sea beings protecting land would make them land lubbers and a kingdom much like Zormite who have lost their roots from sea people to land lubbers

It's called adapting. You have to be able to fit EVERYTHING into RPing in some way in order to make it work out. If we MUST have houses and a castle, I don't think we'll want the public to be able to parade around in it. It should be like ghost towns. Noone is in the streets. No farmers in the fields (though I am guilty of farming upon the CP island). No merchants on the outside. Simply dead, locked up towns. And if outsiders were to come in, they would be slaughtered from those who do happen to be at home.

As I said before, I'd much prefer if we had a mobile massive battleship as a base instead. But this is too large of a request. You make use of what you have. That's how you stay pleased.

Would you rather have us just ignore our castle, island, and live out of ships that players can easily destroy? Or would you make countless pleads to have them create things in the game to suit our wishes? I think my request would be much easier: balance destruction of the fortification with the creation of it. In other words, don't make it too easy to destroy. Doing away with that spell all together would help somewhat. Increasing hit points or setting up some kind of resistances would also be great. You see, this is just a request for one item to be modified. The spell can be removed all together.

It doesnt really make any sense to have "ghost towns". I mean if we just have ghost towns then why even have a island?:\

We NEED an island due to the way GK is set up. No island = no houses. No houses = no personal secure storage areas. The ghost towns are to keep us from being "land-lubbers".

I think thats a good idea about defending our Kingdom island...well kind of. Almost every island is deserted most of the time...We need like, everything we have on Main on CP island. So we dont have to go to main for anything, like dungeons. We have our own dungeons, but I havent found the entrance to it from CP. I've been down there through main island dungeons, and there are like no monsters to fight. We need our own mines too, maybe even lords lol. So then we would stay on our island, therefore there would be a reason for us to protect it. If Island was like that, then most of the Kingdoms will be more organized, the islands will look more like a kingdom, with more people and towns. They should make it so if we enter any kingdom, you're automatically in Battle mode, so it lets us defend our island by fighting whoever comes on. If they're in Peaceful mode, we wont be able to stop them from comming onto our island. There should we have that other kingdoms dont have, maybe some special resource. Other kingdoms as well should have their goodies. Then the kingdom will be worht protecting. So, even if we build those stone walls, we wouldnt be able to kill them if they're in Peaceful mode.
