One of my staff found hats on Griffin that Lady Auron made for Doomsday alone so i went on to see.
They indeed did have these hats, and also hats from npulse.
I asked them to remove them or i would report them, Spork told me to **** off and if i dont like Griffin dont come.
I proceeded to report it to Moonie and my Co Manager and was effectively disconnected from the server , i returned and said i would report it to globals,they banned me.
Ban reason : If you dont like us dont come on, its simple AT ALL
I would like my hats removed , my account unbanned or i will take action of my own, because i broke no Graal rules, and my account is for lifetime use on servers, THATS what i PAY for.

Here, Tifa. The deal is, I have no freaking problem with you. I'm extremely mad today. But I do not remember telling you to '**** off'. I told you if you don't like Griffin, leave. That is true. We have no freaking hats of yours or Moonies. You banned me too on Doomsday, and it took me about a year to get unbanned. You say that when a citizen without RC on your server even talks to you its harrasing. It's not cool guys. And Graal is a freaking game. God, what part of that do you not understand!? Under the CoC you agreed that this is your account and GraalOnline is not responsible for whatever happens to it.

How about the fact that Stefan knows Lady Auron in real life, and knows that SHE made THEM for Doomsday.
We have screenshots to prove they are there on Griffin.

The hat npc is made to show the players C:\graal2001\levels\hats folder.

Just stating a possibility, but maybe the hats were named the same?

Uh sp0rk, I had to tell you that if you didnt stop cussing me with the f word every other word, that I was going to report you as well...LordVyse said that the hats from the graal folder were all uploaded and that we couldnt say anything because we dont have a copyright on them (I have the history saved) then sp0rk said that the hat folder was empty (funny, I was putting hats on)...I was told to talk to the co-owner, which I tried to do, but was totally ignored. I tried to do it in the proper way, but obviously the globals need to get involved.

Were the dice/hats copyrighted? If not they can be used anywhere without permission. And I believe if there were copied hats they are deleted, and so should this thread, otherwise its about to become one of those meaningless ones where people brag and bash. Everyone should go back to work :\

This isn't a matter of copyright, this is a matter of courtesy. Using other people's works as your own is know as plagirism. While in most Graalian cases, the accused does not claim the work as his own, the basic principle remains the same. By duplicating a work, you decrease it's value. With so many servers out, devaluing a server is unforgivible in the mind of the creator. These days, servers are purchased. This compounds the injury, not only is the creation time to attract players lost, but also the money paid for the server.

I emplore you, my fellow Graalians, to behave as enlightened individuals and respect the creations of others.

I will always be amazed by mankind's attempts to dismiss its wrongdoings by telling the victim that they shouldn't care. The fact is that they do care, and have every right to do so. You are at fault here, graphics-stealers, regardless of whether or not you think somebody should complain about the theft of 'trivial' graphics.

What more can be said? You should be punished, and your opinion on the matter is no longer important.

I'm just pissed right now, because everyone is making such a big deal out of a few hats. I can understand being mad about having levels and NPCs stolen, but this is just a few hat graphics... furthermore it was nowhere specified previously that those hats were for use only in DD. I think it would be better if everyone just stopped complaining about this. Even if they were stolen, how much does that actually matter? A few hats? Are you really going to get this worked up about a few hat graphics? Please people... just... stop.

Their problem is they don't appreciate you useing their work as your own. Simple as that. Hell, make your own damn hats if thier that important to you. Don't steal them, that just is stupid. Theif. If they are meant to be Tifa's, and she asks you to remove them, you should remove, if you dont, your a real idiot. Simple a that.

You know why I'm so pissed about all this? Because it caused two of my best friends to up and quit Graal. I know stealing is wrong. I had nothing to do with theft of any kind, not even these hats. I'm sorry that the hat graphics were stolen but it's not my fault. Hell, I don't know who's fault that is in the first place.

Tifa and I wouldnt be making a big deal out of anything had you simply removed the hats without cussing at us, and banning tifa, and the co-owner totally ignoring me, not to mention sp0rk flat out lying to me by saying the hat folder is empty...you people made the big deal out of it, not us....we simply want rules to be enforced, and when trying to be nice and doing it playerworld to playerworld didnt work, Tifa resorted to other means.

My guess is that whoever uploaded the hats didnt know they couldnt just use them all, and just uploaded them, but the staff on the server cant admit to making a mistake, so here we are.....

We all know that Sp0rk isn't going to quit. It's just another childish plea for attention.

There is a lesson to be learned here always put gfx you don't want people to use in this format Playerworld_graphic-name.png that way if someone knows you don't want people to use it.Also just because its in a folder dosnt mean its up for grabs you shouldnt upload every hat in your hat folder into your server.

It was named dd_hat whatever. Anyways does this mean ever graphics i make for Doomsday i must copyright it by putting a copyright logo in every single gfx also when i put it in levels you see copyright by doomsday? I think not yes i understood the hats are in sprites but it was copyright by LadyAuron and was never uploaded on G2k1 for server wide use. Now am more worried about releasing new stuff on doomsday and end up seeing it on another playerworld.:\ What ever happen to the global graphics team who prevents stuff like these *sigh*

I logged back on , said i'm taking this to globals, he disconnected me again, and i found i was banned.
Guess what, i'm pissed off too, ive paid for over 15 accounts now, are you going to ban them all?
Someone on your server made a mistake which could have been solved easily, but instead Moon Goddess and i were cussed at, and i was banned.
I'm still waiting to be unbanned.
