Bomies are shafted
 

They can't play survivor, they can't mine, they can't bake, and their jobs are awful and slow. Is it worth being a bomy (like are there going to be releases to help balance it?)?

Nope. Nobody cares about dumb ol' bomies :(.

Except Pearl Diving, which is the most profitable in the game. Except, arguably, farming, which bomys can do aswell anyways.

How is it so profitable now? you need 7 white pearls, like 3 pink ones and 5 black ones all to make one gralat =/

2 pink OR 4 black OR 7 white.

Ummm... they can kill humans pretty easily.

I prefer making snowcones. Pearl diving is a cruddy job now, but I agree it paid too much to begin with. Bird catching isn't bad at all as soon as you get Net 3, as birds can weigh up to 1450 I've seen.

Another job which I'm peeved about is mushroom picking. It's not well known, as it's well out of the way, but that's human only as well. So unless there's another hidden bomy-only job I haven't seen, it is unbalanced in jobs compared to human jobs.

Angel was talking about making some bomy level system with wind,earth,ice, and fire bomies
with attacks and stuff.
But all the classic people voted no so i doubt she will do it.

Heh. Just so you bomy's will stop annoying the crap out of me, next week I will hold some type of bomy only event for 10 dollars or so.

If bomies get more jobs etc.. Then they should take away the 100extra starting hp. The extra hp quests that humans dont get. The hiding under shells forever so they cant be hurt even in rp zones that dont allow pausing. The Damage that is almost twice as much as humans. The no time out in the bomy attack so they can hit you over and over and the human can never get out of hurt mode to move away. Unless the person is lucky enough to be in an open area and even then it can be tough. Bomies have the easiest time making money that doesnt involve slamming the D key over and over to do it.

So how about really balancing human vs bomies and making them equal. If one has higher attack it should have lower hp. No race should have higher attack and defense over another. Any intelligent person would realize this and understand the concept of balance and give them weaknesses and not make them little mobile tanks that are nearly unstoppable.

I guarantee if you put a bomy and a human together than both equally know how to fight the bomy will win every single time.

Pearl diving has been "nerfed" so it now yields less money, and bird catching is only starting to get profitable once you have Net 3, which costs 60 gralats in itself.

Well. the only good human job right now is farming, and bomys can do farming. They just need to make it so bomys dont need a human to hit down their trees. :(

From what I've heard, bread baking also isn't bad at all.
If you are incinuating bird catching reels in the money with Net 1 or 2, consider this:
With Net 1, you can only catch red birds, which are typically 150-200 grams.
With Net 2, you can catch red birds, as well as golden birds, which are typically 200-400 grams.
Now, you grab a bird maybe once in about 15-20 seconds. Add into this, the fact that you need to achieve a total of 1500 grams, per single gralat.
Bird catching isn't as lucrative as you think.

You get a bird faster than that. :O

Anyway. Brad makes a ton of money snow cone making. 7 gralat per 2 apples. So bomys arent bad.

It depends how lucky you are. You do know snowcone making isn't bomy-only, right?

I doubt this, can you make 30 gralats in 30 minutes with Farming?

Pearl diving is more 40g - 50g per hour than 60g per hour.

I was trying to point out that there is a very distinct difference in amounts of jobs that are bomy-only, compared to human-only.
