Reset GK?
 

A few weeks ago If someone had suggested "reset GK!" I would have called them a f**king idiot and voted hell no, because I worked hard to level and enjoy having the items i have now/winning/trading for them, etc. However it's come to me that there are way too many bugs that have been abused to duplicate items, make plat, gain EXP, and generally imbalance the ENTIRE gameplay. I know you people think you worked "hard" to get where you are, but believe it or not people HAVE worked harder and have been screwed due to bugs or people abusing money alchemy things such as bugs (potion of life) or people having another type of rare item that was to be limited onto the server, and many items that were not supposed to be released. I know for a fact that pinpointing these items IS possible, but it takes too long and deleting them from specific people would not be fair, thus, removing everything from everybody, and giving everybody that is now playing an equal chance/opportunity to start over would be FAIR.

I don't want anyone to be mislead and think that this poll will have GK reset indefinately, I just want to know who feels how and why. So, post whether or not you agree to a reset or disagree, and your reasoning.

This would be a good idea as long as no crazy strong items are given out and instead are gotten by quests, bugs and bug abusers are dealt with accordingly, and alchemy recipes are taken out and new ones put in.

I agree and at the same time, I don't agree. I believe that GK kinda started slipping from the time Er1c, Pir, Garel, Angel and myself were fired from GK. I think we were a vital part to GK. There were some bug abusers and I had them taken care of, but the influx of bug abusers these days causes the staff just to shrug them off and not worry about them...I would love to be staff again (and no, not for power) but to bring GK back up to the level of maturity and respect it once had..

Regardless of the fact that I have worked hard, I suppose of course, others have worked harder...

Through and through, it hasnt been fun getting to where I am...

A few people use bugs, it spreads, and spreads, AND SPREADS... Why should I be held responsible, or even subjected to reset?

**** that. If your gonna do that, then I think theres going to be some fighting... Its ****, especailly considering, there is no 1 go all go rule stated for resets...

Certain people need to be resetted, possibly.. I believe all plat should be deleted form GK... Fresh Start, and checking the receipes for certain loopholes of these sort of receipes need to be checked for...

I dont think itd be fair to many players...

Dragon X, Pir proved to be immature, Er1c selfish, and Angel bogged down with many other things. You, however, have always seemed to stick to the guidelines and be sincere as possible. If anybody should return to be staff it should be you. You could be a "General Helper" guy with RC and rights to ban and whatnot because you are infact on a lot of the time and have been in a staff position on GK where you have not abused anything before.

If kingdoms was reset, it would not be fair to those of us who spent hours and hours and hours and hours of our time earning items to be leet.

Well...hiring people such as james was the worse decision ever made...so yea, hire unbalanced people and get an unbalanced server, i vote 100 yes, it would be very fun i think, i miss those days

I agree. Get DragonX back as a staff who can help people when they're stuck and deal with scammers/bug abusers, and maybe find some other people who won't abuse it and be generally helpful to everyone who needs it.

yes, a reset, a reset would be perfect for fixing alot of things, and making the economy go back to normal :)

I am proud, because in the time I have been playing, I WORKED my way up, didn't buy anything for USD, didn't scam, didn't abuse bugs, nothing like that. I just started to have fun, after all the work I put forth, and if kingdoms was reset, I would without doubt quit :D

I would agree that a plat reset would be nice, and they better do it soon if they want it to mean anything.

er...then that is your business, but a reset is needed, the classes have been balanced, new addons, many new things since the release...there is so much unbalance...things DEFINATLY need reset...i voted for "no" on accident so yea c_c

I would do anything to get GK back to the days of balance :(

I miss the uber old days though..Ice arrows, fire arrows..snowballs...why can't we have those things back :[

I remember the first days of 2k2... it's a shame to see how far it's fallen since then.

Unfortunately I cant feel as good as him, ( scamming, minor receipe offenses ) I second his quitting proprosal... It took me, 3 months for RoS, then a month later, RoW, and unexpectedly 2 more RoW's, one for 80k and RoS and one in stores.... Im now back to RoS / RoW, but i've gone thru 4 event weapons, and now im at a good overall.

It took me awhile to sit comfortably in Trading tables afking and not have to worry about getting killed... now this ****... ugh... I mean, I agree that this game is unbalanced, but UNLESS the bugs are patched, then all the reset is gonna do is have people going crazy over getting Cauldrons, and doing the same damn thing.

Oh man, those were so fun. Snowball fights on the mountain, ice arrows to stop your opponent in their tracks... Skiing down the mountain, mining with friends to get your first sword.... so many good memories :(

man...it was leet...when you would search and search for iwds...*sigh*

and the days when having a speed+1 rings was cool, a speed+2 ring was leet, and a RoF was godly

and a reset would remove alchemy items as well...and bring back koni as em damnit, loriel too, they did the best ****

My first sword was a katana too... I still use it to this very day. :) Although it's been surpassed by all the newer weapons, it's still a reminder of better days.

yes, and this would give the new players a chance as well...

duping alchemy stats bug
blessing bug
saphire bug
blocking rex bug
monster respawn bug
tree seed+3 water of wise=potion of life=loads of money bug
and i know there are MANY bugs i have missed

Im agains any kind of reset

I worked since the beginning to be where I am today while some people abuse bugs and have the same thing I do just because they duped it or something, that's not cool and it's totally unfair. It's like, you working in a restaurant and you want to be the manager but you don't want to work your way up, instead you murder the manager and make it look like an accident so that you can get the manager position. That's what most players did, they murdered their bosses and became strong and rich in a month while I worked over a year and a half+....

omg and just think...if people were to be reset...THEY WOULD ACTUALLY WEAR THE ARMOR AND HELMS THAT THEY WERE MEANT TO OMG

Then why are so many other people for a reset? Maybe he did it for selfish reasons, but I think he did it because of all the millions of plat that's now floating around on the server.

Tseng's post just proves how biased he is. If DX had posted this, I am sure he would've said a lot more than what he did in his post, like "No we can change things and fix it," or "I agree and I think that we should fix things up and THEN reset" or something like that.

Umm I have about 800 hours on my DragonX2 account putting me at over 2k hours..:cool:

i have...400 on anUk account
350 on AnU2
900 on Ningnong2
and 300 on MarkB account...so yea, go figure, i bet i have the most hours in the game

That's only 1950, I still win nanana and with only 2 accounts :cool: :p :D :)
