i need some help
 

:confused: I need some help on making player worlds. You do it on the offline editor right? Then how do you make those little movies like on shaded legend(great world I might add).

I'm betting you're talking about a gani movie.

If your movies don't really involve a player, or anything else with too many sprites, a coded cutscene may work well too.

Thats that method that SL uses, or atleast what it did back in the day.

Yeah, I think it would be quite tedious to make a cutscene out of gani movies. Gani movies are nice for small scenes, but not big cutscenes like that one.

SL's cutscenes are entirely scripted out.

Learn how to use setfocus and make npcs move. That is what is predominately used in them along with the text, not including the "wide-screen" cut scene boxes.

I mean, theoretically, one could do south park style animation in graal if they were good enough with showpoly;

I'd imagine that taking a long time, especially alot of work :).

Or you could just have a HUGE animated gif ;)

A southpark movie out of showpoly. Wow, that would be a lot of work.

Using gani movies is a hell of a lot better than scripting it all out. ;x
