i dunno, something to do. IRC would be a much faster means of answering questions than e-mail or a forum, because you know exactly who's on, and what everyone's saying. If they added room grouping to the PM system, it'd work just as well, but I figure that this'll eliminate a lot of the questions people have (or at least sort them all into a single place...). I also want to create a new community where players actually -help- players.

The forums work just fine.

Additionally, the forums have some degree of permanence - if something is answered once here, it then can become a reference for the future.

Nah... noone looks through the posts to find their answers unless the subject is new. They just make more posts on the same subject.

IRC Channel would probally reduce those posts.
