If you are not going to let Muddy change it then please restore it to how it originally was... all the levels are screwed up and everything.. all you have to do is restore the levels and you don't need any staff.

That server was created for the people that missed the old classic. It's pointless and should be removed.

Emily...it's being shut down. Me and Muddy are bringing it back. It will be called Graal Lite.

Valder - Graal2000 is one of my fave server's so shutup.
Pickles - That's good but.. do they have to shut it down? why can't they just restore the levels and leave it be.

Because when the new Graal client is finished, many changes will be in place that will make every script on the entire server no longer work. There's not enough demand for Tyhm to hire scripters to convert every script to be compatible. So, he is going to shut it down...whether this happens before or after the new client is out...no one knows, not even Tyhm himself.

So, me, Muddy, and some other collaborators are going to attempt to do the task that Tyhm will not do...convert the scripts...This will be a very long and daunting task, but we feel it can be accomplished. Our server will be the Graal2000 that was up just before Tyhm reset it...We seek to improve the old levels and to come up with new and exciting things as well. Again, it will not be easy, but we're going to try our hardest to pull it off.

Heh you obviously haven't looked around too much...there's like gaping pics1 images (like the whole pics1 is in the level) in several areas. It looks very bad and since there's no regulation, it has become a hacker free for all.

It will be the same G2k as before it was reset...In increments...Things will be made public as the scripts are converted.

Why dont you do something to get more player's? i dont see anybody on that server:(, only npc server and a few rc's..

What are you talking about? Graal2000 has NO NPC server, and NO RCs.

:p yeah except pics1 wasn't blocking areas making them inaccessable. Back in the day we didn't use trainers though...We simply used hex editors. Of course, that was in the days where the client was very insecure. Though in reality it still is pretty insecure...That's part of the reason for the rewrite.

Well a lot of his past actions were due to people annoying the hell out of him and getting tired of himself being the only one doing any development work. Sometimes that kinda stuff builds up on a person and they just can't take it anymore. Regardless, I'll be keeping a close eye on my staff and the problems that occurred on G2k should not happen again.

Well, perhaps a lot of his past actions occured because his mind wasn't clear while being on duty (drug usage).

But if you'll pay attention to the staff's actions, there shouldn't be any problem :)

It's stupid to basically have 2 of the same servers online. Classic and 2000 are the same server. Get rid of one.

2000 is being taken down, and one with the "real" levels will be put up by superb and muddy or something :P
And yes, those servers are very mush like each other ;X

they are actually much different in ways besides the tileset...

The idea is kinda the same ;X Graal2000 just got a lot more level errors and such :p

I actually like Graal2000 a hell of a lot more than classic. They arent the same. I hope you guys get done reconstructing it as soon as possible, it sucks so bad it cant breathe right now.

G2k took me back to the old days

the only reason I Personally played it was because of its errors and the way it was setup, took me back to when things like perfection and Level/NPC Design were not Top Priorities, but just playing the game.

It was a good feeling to see it, but changing it i didnt enjoy that idea, but in the end its every servers goal to get playercount right? :asleep:

Well, I think I may have changd my mind about this...I think bringing back the server may be futile and a waste of my hard earned money.

Old Graal owned it saddens me to see it in that state

It was gonna die anyway...client side servers won't work in the new Graal client coming out.

Muddy IM'd me today saying he deleted graal from his computer
So i'm thinking you're server isn't going up =/
