Valikorlia- Going against rules of conduct, Abusing power, and Harassing players

The rules of conduct on graal state many things, they are all fair and i abide by them. However Valikorlia, while it may be a playerworld, has become horribly corrupt and staff there have upset me in a global matter. I have been in jail for days now, for killing 1 person, not on an admin tag, who was in a rival nation. also the admins there have told me off, insulted me, unjailed then jailed me again, as a joke. Well nothing of what i did has crossed the rules of conduct, nor harassed anybody. or done anything that would be fair to do this to me. Now i paid 43 dollars american, for graal, getting the money online was a hastle, i payed so that i could play Valikorlia, i had to pay so i could save, and utilise the very good stat system. The Valikorlia admins are very ignorant, they never help people and abuse powers like nothing ive ever seen before. Graal is a pay game, i expect the servers i paid for to be professional about their staff positions, and i dont expect to be unable to play due to an ingame function that does not go against the rules of conduct. The rules of Valikorlia state that it is a roleplay server, and i understand that, i roleplay on it whenever i can, or could. However the system to attack people is in their, and i used it when my nations castle was under attack, and punished for it. None of the admins helped me. And so i am demanding that something is done about this gross offence that has been made against me, without fair reason.
my account name that is jailed: masterdan
Reason for jail: Using an ingame function that is legal in accordance with the Code of Conduct.
PS: I battle In Character, and had roleplay reason to kill him.

Also Poll: Who has been Jailed in Valikorlia for unfair reason? that did not go against the Code of conduct.

I didnt read all that as im in spain, n an internet cafe and the clock is ticking. It sounds the same old same old, so goto Houdini/an admin who may be able to help you. And i´ll be interested to see the results of the poll. Two things though

1) You dont need to post them same things alot of times
2) Val has strict RP rules, be careful you know how to abide by them when you log on.

Do you really have to post about Sanstrata in every thread? At first I thought that guy was just full of it in the other thread. But after reading more posts he's right. Just give it a rest we dont care this isnt a Sanstrata thread stop bringing Sanstrata up in every single thread.

He's probably trying to bring up hype XD

Projectshifter 08-08-2003 05:46 PM

This is a stupid thread. Don't go bashing playerworlds or graal online, it is against the rules of conduct for the forums.

Ya, I was gonna say something...

ETD 08-08-2003 05:54 PM

ok, i didn't read the post, because
#1. it's against any forum rules i have ever seen
#2. i think this should be in the PW section...

but i DID vote anyways, and it was for the first option... due to the fact that the firsdt time i logged in there, i was jailed unfairly.
I had logged on with the name 'ETD (Dragon Knights)' which i have used on graal for 2 years (at that time), and i went AFK for a few mins, to get the door or something, when i came back, i was in jail...

why? well, it seems that someone (forget what level of staff) had warned me about my name, and said he would give me '10 mins' to fix it... then he jailed me after 3, when i hadn't even given a responce yet, since i was away
=/
anyways, i found this unfair, and is the reason why i voted the way i did... i'm not trying to bash the server or anything... just saying that i have experienced an unjust jailing from a staff member.

No, they arent outdated, they are the most current rules of the forums, and are suppose to be followed until another set of rules are made
The problem is, the rules arent being inforced

Zurkiba 08-08-2003 07:21 PM

Welcome to Graal... where the Terms of Use is crap. Because last I heard... Graal Terms of use can only be inforced by the server managers and staff. Which means No

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe if the managers or staff do not follow general Graal rules, then that is what the PWA or even the GM (if need be) is for? So, no, not only the managers or staff can enforce those rules...if people cannot get anywhere with problems on a PW, then they should go to the PWA, if I am correct, that is part of their job

Thallen 08-08-2003 08:32 PM

A few days ago I got jailed on Valikorlia for "hit and run"...if that reason isn't stupid enough, I was hit by some Toran member, I hit him back, and ran. I got jailed...

Dark-Dragoon 08-08-2003 09:11 PM

I notice everyone talks about Val..but how many of you people actually PLAY there? 1? 2? Untill you do, stop going onto it for 5 seconds, causing trouble, and expecting to not be punished.

FrostyElf 08-08-2003 09:35 PM

I believe you're wrong. Because I acually went to a PWA member. He told me one thing, -If the manager wants to enforce it-.

davidpsy 08-09-2003 04:01 AM

Andy0687 08-09-2003 05:34 AM

i got banned for constant unintellegant masses not pertaining to RP

when people there clearly were doing the same thing, and the person who banned me called me a "newbie ****"

Golbez 08-09-2003 07:50 AM

lol, I was jailed for using a head weeeeeee.
Well im going to do the smart thing and PM a PWA and not sit here and post about it, I recommand everyone else who feels they are jailed for a bad reason to do the same.

PWA cant do anything about it. Read Terms of Use. Administrator has the right to determine what's right and what's wrong.

If he wants you to send him naked pictures of yourself to him and you dont... He can ban you.

You aren't very smart, are you. If something a PW administrator determines is "right" goes against a graalonline rule, which do you suppose is superior? You seem to indicate that the PW administrator's would be, which is completely fallacious.

He also can be removed as Manager of that server for several reasons contained within those two short sentences you wrote.

Actually yes we are others may not like what we do and it may be aganced the rules but anyone has the possibilty to do anything they want on the forums weather or not they do it is up to them.

Snakeandy7 08-09-2003 03:10 PM

heh

Let val be. They have there own rules.
Val is by far one of the classic server's in my opinion, you dont like val, fine just dont play:rolleyes:

1) I'm just repeating what was in my experience when I went through the PWA. They said they couldn't do anything because it was the manager's position to enforce the Graal Terms of use or not.

2) It was a... heavy idea.

Snakeandy7 08-09-2003 06:25 PM

respect the rules or just dont play, thats all i say :o

Do you misunderstand the phrase "free to do whatever we want"?

'Cause I think you do.

Darlene159 08-09-2003 07:03 PM

Gee, I wonder what gives people the impression that the rules for the forums dont apply, or even the graal rules...maybe the fact that they arent enforced? Hmm, I wonder........

Sure, if you like going to places that suck. :)

I admit, it has potential...but it is crap in its current state.

Tyhm 08-09-2003 08:15 PM

That's nice. Enough bashing though. If you have an offense, tell the PWA. This ain't a forum for airing dirty laundry.
