It does not depend on the program you use.
However, I use GIMP, Adobe Photoshop 8.0, and MS Paint.

marcoR 08-05-2003 01:43 AM

I use paint, although I have PS7

I heard about gimp, and that it was Really good, think I should try it?

Smoke2k3 08-05-2003 01:59 AM

TribulationStaff 08-05-2003 02:01 AM

The GIMP is nice, but they haven't taken advantage of teh end of the gif patent yet.

davidpsy 08-05-2003 02:22 AM

I use ms paint mostly and psp7 for some minor stuff like rotating images and making images lighter or darker exc..

LordZen 08-05-2003 05:41 AM

tlf288 08-05-2003 06:16 AM

I use MS Paint for pixel graphics and the

editing.

MS Paint/PSP7

Judge_S 08-05-2003 07:53 AM

If I do any graphics, I use Fireworks 4/MX, but only because I'm familiar with it.

draco5432 08-07-2003 07:07 AM

I would assume you're referring to PSP, correct? Because Windows, which I'll also assume you are operating under, already has Paint.

Dude6252000 08-07-2003 08:40 PM

Photoshop 6, because I can't keep up with the times, and I didn't even know there was a photoshop 7 or 8.

MKSLAYER 08-07-2003 10:11 PM

MS Paint, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Image Ready, Adobe Illustrator, other GFX plug-ins and junk

konidias 08-08-2003 04:42 AM

I use ms Paint for pixeling and basically all my game graphics... I use Photoshop 7.0 for my photo editing.

Kronan 08-08-2003 07:20 AM

I use Corel Draw 11 or Corel Photo Paint, they are pretty good.

Myomoto 08-08-2003 09:37 AM

I use Ms Paint and psp5 :P

Nick1988 08-08-2003 10:13 AM

I use MS Paint, Ulead Gif Animator 5&Photo Impact 8, and PSP 8.

MrGannondorf 08-09-2003 06:35 AM

ms paint isn't worth my time. psp7 and photoshop6 work wonders, although I just downloaded photoshop7, because I hear it has some new features.

psp has an easy to use interface, has the more essential color filters, although lacks some of the advanced filters of photoshop.

I use psp for the simpler stuff because the interface is more efficient, and I'm more familiar with it. simpler stuff= bitmaping, working with graal images, airbrushing my drawings, etc

I use photo shop for filters that I can't otherwise do with psp. for example, I have a messed up pagefile and psp can't add text without crashing. Also, photo shop has better lens flare effects than psp7, and it has some other realy cool filters, such as a cloud rendering filter.

Ms paint isn't worth your time, because its a prime example of microsoft quality; its a pile of garbage. It doesn't have capability to use layers, and doesn't have any filters or usefull color pallet functions. its the worst graphics program I've ever seen.

I would like to use the gimp, because it is better than any of the 'shop' programs, or so I've heard from everyone I've met that uses it. The only downside I see to the gimp, is that one would need linux to take full advantage of it, wich is bad for the average new00ber. I'm a big fan of linux myself, so once I fix some minor details in my linux comp, I'll be a happy camper :)

*deep inhale*

jake13jake 08-09-2003 09:41 AM

the best is overwhelmingly ms paint, but some things require photoshop and/or something that can make gifs.

wonderboysp2p 08-11-2003 01:31 AM

ms paint, GIMP (my dad brought it home one day so i use it) psp7 animagic... just about anything i can get my hands on... and my gfx still look like ****

although my gfx regarding 56k modems made for donald were pretty damn funny
