Jailed for being stupid?
 

Ok, this has got to be one of the most stupidest things I have ever seen on graal.

I went on Rudora because Wan wanted me for something real quick, so I thought to myself. "I've got some time on my hands, lets have some fun", so I go around saying people are ****s and saying I was using God mode when it was really a no pk zone, and all of a sudden, I get jailed for being stupid?

The person that jailed me before hand said "I think I'm gonna jail him for being stupid" thats how I know what the reason is. They already knew that I was not hacking.

They possibly jailed you for that. You should have told them you were joking. Well no, you shouldnt joke about that.

I didn't tell you the whole story lol... Kain warped me to a pk zone and hit me to make sure i wasn't hacking...

and then he laughed and left and went back into the main room... then he said "I think ima jail him for being stupid"

Well you were being stupid.

That doesn't give them a right to jail me.

It's in the rules, Staff can jail/ban at their own discretion.

'Being stupid' isn't necessarily purely a reference to intelligence. It can mean that you're acting in the manner of a stupid person and intentionally being disruptive.

Perhaps he meant you were being stupid by using god mode in front of staff (though you were not)

I wasn't hacking, I wasn't spamming, I wasn't massing. this is what I said...

"I'm hacking", people could have ignored it, people could have left me alone.

He knew I wasn't hacking, so he jailed me for being stupid...

Wouldn't you think a warning would be a little more acceptable? I even think a warning would be almost out of the line.

I was a GP on Classic for about 8 months, so this is what I think about it...

God mode isn't the easiest to track because people can turn it on and off plus lag sometimes makes it look like someone is in god mode. When a person runs around and calls people swear words, then says "I'm hacking", then a GP will most likely assume you are hacking. He might not have known you were joking around so don't assume he jailed you for a pointless reason.

If a guy comes up to me and swears at me, then claims he is hacking, I would jail him for being stupid too because he was "hacking" in front of a staff member.

I have this feeling that there is going to be a lot of these threads once Oasis is out. :p

Yes, it's kind of stupid to say "I'm using God mode". Unless you are looking for trouble. So troublemaker or stupid?

(i am kinda bashing being a stupid trouble maker, and i am pretty stupid and enjoy making trouble sometimes...so i think i'll stop now, and call it a night)

He probably wasn't cussing, but was saying n0-0b which I do believe is censored by the forums.

And hasn't anyone else here just for fun taunted someone (mostly 'newbies') in a non-pk zone saying they where "hacking"? I have. Besides staff should be smart enough to A. already fricken know the server well enough to know it was on a non-pk level, or B. check to see that it was.

That was because the managers gave out level 4 Guest RCs to a couple people and so a person took over the server and banned people for that (including myself)

God you beat me to it... All the people that'll get them selves banned just for not reading the rules...

Those are 2 different things saying you hacking in a none pk zone is not life threatening. But yeah I guess it is sort of like that.

using god mode in a no pk zone would be the same as saying you had a bomb in a jail cell while being naked
it wouldnt harm anyone(only the nakedness:)) it would only be pointless and stupid
saying you had a bomb in an airplane would be the same as using godmode in a pk zone in front of staff
it would harm / piss off someone and it would be stupid

but yes it is stupid ;)
