Graal2001 Abomination
 

I admit I was one of those faceless people who wanted the old Graal2001 back.. But what it is now isn't Graal2001, it's just going to become another "Graal:The Adventure" clone... Why has this happened? Graal2001 laid down to a bunch of amateurs. :( No offense, of course, i'm sure they're great at whatever they do, but Graal2001 wasn't meant to be so..... N-Pulse. :(

There's nothing wrong with Npulse.

But I think 2k1 should have stayed like it was before they decided to make it "omg elite". Even with it's glitches it was fun. Flaws don't make it inherently bad.

I'm not insulting NPulse, its just hard to explain :o They've made Graal2001 into that person who's face burns into your mind until you've lost control over all concious thought. It's too "helo welcum to our pw". It shouldn't be ran by normal players :( I liked the way it was before it went gold =o

Um, well, I miss 2k1, I had a bomy, rare hats, lots of hard earned money.. and now, they made it crappy, and staff are corrupt there kind of. They don't even answer a simple question. It was a bad idea giving 2k1 to Tseng ..

2k1 wasn't given to Tseng. He was on the chain of succession and he got it in his due turn, just like most of us higher ups have at one point or another. I had it for almost a year, then Jeff had it for a few months, now Tseng.

(this is totally off topic but, in your picture I love your hair.. When I try to grow it out like that it gets all curly and ghey :P)

The trick is to trim it a lot and keep it straight. Eventually it starts to grow in straight and doesn't actually curl. My hair used to curl a little bit when I started to grow it out; of course if your hair is naturally curly then you have a bit of a problem. You might consider going to a salon to get it straightened or something...

Knux, still sore over not getting a sword from that sword event? Tsk, tsk. You did not win an event, therefore I am a bad manager. I love your logic there. You whine and moan becuase you lost an event, and will use anything as an excuse to exact some type of "revenge" upon me - Well, I'm stopping you in your tracks, right here and right now.

For those who are not familiar (more to the creator of this topic) I have been manager for what, less than one month? The overworld was closed off for two reasons:

1) To fix all of the problems caused by jeff uploading the old old old old levels which Stefan did not approve of

2) To fix the problems that existed before jeff did that.

So, please be patient, and in due time we will get things all straightened out, and the overworld will be released. Within the next week we will start the weeklong countdown, which will lead to the release of the server. It's still sooner than I wanted, so there will most likely still be some bugs remaining, but hopefully it will please all of the complainers. The main thing that needs fixing is the money, and I am working on balancing it out.

Just stay tuned, and graal2001 will be back and open for business.

No, I didn't get a fair chance at that. And, I'm mad that your manager because you suck. You don't answer questions, you've only answered one pm one time, and that was saying "hi" your acting like stefan and its pissing me off :/..

You can't get rid of Tseng. Unlike with Kamuii and Jeff, there is no distinct "next in line" for manager. Tseng is effectively the last chance for 2K1 to survive. If Tseng can't revive the server, then it will most likely either be deleted, or become a permanent resident of the bottom section of the playerlist.

I disagree. You had more than a fair chance - patience is a virtue when the event includes one on one spars. When I was going to the second circle of people (who had sparred under the first set of rules and lost under the second; this group included you) and gave them second chances, you started cursing at me before I had even gotten to you. The only punishment at first was to deny you a second chance because of your vulgarity. You were lucky that did not result in a ban right then and there. However, you felt like pushing it, and you continued your foul language even after I had warned you to stop. Fair? I think it was far, far, above and beyond fair.

You are entitled to that opinion, flawed though it is.

I am not allowed to be busy? Granted, I am nowhere near as busy as Stefan, but I am allowed to be busy working on things. You should take that as a good sign that I'm working, and not as a bad one that I "suck."

You're right - I did miss someone, who asked very nicely about their second chance. I was more than happy to grant them it. However, when the request contains several swear words, I am less inclined to comply.

If you are refering to Npulse as having that Classic "feel" about it then I will take that as a compliment , it is intended to have that affect on purpose. Ran by normal players? What kind of statement is that? We are all "normal players" at one time or another so do you have a point here?

OMFG GRAAL2k1 Staff R kURRUPT OMFS .. no.. and your complaining when it isnt even released yet, what is released is basically so if anyone is really super bored, you can play with it. (I for one am not one of those mindless people)

1.I think Tseng is a great managar he is going to bring new and exiting stuff to Graal2001 and Karsh is going to be making bodies so this is going to be great if you ask me..Also this is off-topic but might i suggest that players can have different modes that will go in the profile like
RP Mode
Normal Mode or something
So players can see if they are a RPer or not.
Actually....i have lots of idea's but i better keep them for Doomsday :P

I mean its like NPulse how the grammar is strange, theres a :) on almost every sign and whatnot, but i have no problem with that on npulse, it makes it seem more friendly. It's just that 2001 is different. And I'm gonna wait until it's completely out before I say anything else on the subject.

Like Tseng said, they are bringing everything back. I just hope it still had pie baking and apple pie baking, the apple tree growing and stuff. All of that was awesome. And if this thread continues to be a "omg u didnt give me event swurd" thread, it can be closed, because the topic issue has been cleared...

Is Graal2001 coming back as Gold or a regular playerworld?

Were basically a gold server that you don't have to pay for, like classic, like CheeToS said.

And, for the 6th time, I cannot make my bodies until Stefan fixes my graalshop. The new bodies are probably coming AFTER the overworld is back up.

Well, I dislike signs that have smileys in them as well, and the same goes for using words that don't exist, like 'roxor'.

I've said a few times before, there aren't "major changes" to the overworld - we're just fixing bugs that were left behind right now. I personally am working on fixing the money - you may or may not have known, but there was a horrible inflation near the end. I'm trying to balance that out and make money worth something again. The general consensus I've seen is that people want money to be rare and valuable - I want that as well. I'm talking 5-25 gralat hats, people, and not 1k+ gralat hats.

Why not make it better by making hats cost about 5$ and better hats costing 10$? And you could charge low prices for things (And also give low money from jobs). That would probably keep the money low. People would be like "Ahh I have 50G! I'm rich!" and not like "Ahh I have 5,000g! I'm rich!"

I think that would be cool :(

Believe it or not, Jeff didn't make your mess.

Jeff's old levels did not ruin the instruments, the diving system, the bomy boots, and all the other NPCs which were overwritten by the evil toweapons from the levels?
