Anyways.. I work for Archaic now (Private server, if you have Gold time log on and see for yourself O.o) If you don't.. Here's a screenshot of the server.

And proudly.. I've done everything, GFX-wise ^_^

Er.. Well the bodies are edits of G2k2's.. But I just have 0 patience for body making.. So many sprites involved =__=

sword doesnt look real, the health bar is ugly, the birds shouldn't have such big shadows, the boat looks choppy, the trees look ugly, and the sand has too much grit, and ps: it looks like you took graal kingdoms and changed the graphics a little. We dont need a clone of graal kingdoms o.o

Tell you what, if you can make the palm trees, that boat, and the sword equally as well or better..

Well, I think it's really damned sexy. 9/10. The only thing I would suggest you improve a bit is the boat's deck, shouldn't it have more walling? :o

I hate to say this, but it sucks. You can't read the health bar, the sword looks like a chainsaw (a DULL chainsaw), and the boat is just...uhh

The face in your signature, the left side (Our left) seems a bit too flat. Like he's missing actually defining cheek bones.

The bottom-right side of the chin seems a bit misproportioned also, like you took one serious left-hook or something.

The nose... The shape is all wrong, it looks entirely flat. Shading is a good thing, please remember this.

Background colour.. Orange is original, not many people use it, So there's a creativity point there, but why not Spice it up a bit? That bland orange reminds me of those Supermarkets built in the 60's with "Save" in the name..

Skin tones... Either his skin tone was chosen badly or he's one serious hermit.

And the hair could use more texture as well... As is it's... Just kinda there.

Well yeah Archaic is supposta be like GK but different bloo has done some nice work I like that pirate sword he made.

I absolutely love everything. I wouldn't change a thing except the border of the boat looks like it was made with clay. :) Great job! 9/10.

I like it. I do have some suggestions though...

I think the deck of the boat looks good, but the shape of the hull should be smoother. It does kinda look like it's melting.

On the starboard side of the boat, your walls have no thickness. Add thick edges like you see on the port (near) side of the boat.

There's no steering wheel on the boat... if the "house" part is supposed to be the wheelhouse/control room, add a window on the front so the pilot can see out.

The hull board pattern doesn't line up above and below the waterline. If you did this on purpose to make it look realistic, like the water is refracting the light, don't. Some realistic touches don't work with graphics like this.

I don't like the small plants on the beach. Round the bottom more so it doesn't look so flat, and shade the sides so it looks cylindrical.

I give it 7/10. As for the people who complain that it's a GK clone... well, why not? Many of us think that GK is the greatest thing that ever happened to Graal. If it works, use it. If it works and you can't use it, copy it. :D

Well Archaic is somewhat nice...even though I got fired for being me? Bloo Kat didnt like me so he fired me...erm anyways

Attached is a screen shot with a few things I found could be better.

1) I hope this building gets fixed? Barrells on the houses? err...right
2) All the buildings on the island so far look the same =/ I hope that changes, also maybe add some windows to them or even othergrowth
3) The roof on them near the top should still be overlapped like how it is at the bottom.
4) Make different building sizes...yes i know these are images but still you could make some with a greater width than the current buildings.
5) The tree... =/ Maybe add some roots sticking out cause the base of the tree is erm...interesting..

Yea Archaic might make it but they might not ever be great because all they do is hire staff of other servers... and give out rc like candy

i live on cape cod and we have some pirate wrecks off the cost and a few i've seen (plus we have a bunch of boats) #1) all boats from that error had gaurd rails on the sides #2) also the cabin would spread usually either from the direct center or it was at the back of the boat and the stearing wheel cas on top of it and the cabin streatched the width of the ship also they would usually feature life boats in the center of the ships tied down with a tarp over them (which was bound with ropes to the deck). i think every thing else got covered XD

I hate logging on and seeing two-five more guests who just act like complete children in the RC and do nothing to help the project what-so-ever

I have never done a server whipe...In fact whenever I quit my job on a server I leave my stuff, If I ever even got fired I would still leave my work. Its childish like, if you want your work back after using them to help the server. So please try to get your facts straight before assuming such rumors.

Yeah, it's supposed to look like crap. It was smooth when it was bigger, but I had to make it smaller for Listen-To.com to accept it, and it became all scrunched up. Here is the original image...attached

And that boat is just...uhh...it looks like something straight out of a toliet (it looks like a giant turd)


The "sail" looks like bird crap on paper

There are too many servers like "OMG LETZ HAV A HELTH BAR OV3R TEH HED!!!"

That "little tree" plant or whatever looks like a burned barrel with marijuana growing out of it

The birds look like a baseball where the covering came off after it got hit too hard

How are people supposed to steer that boat?

And last but not least...this is one of Graal Kingdoms' biggest problems...why the hell is there a tree in sand? It doesn't even look like it's in the sand, it's just....there...

Yes I totally agree with scott here...That is just really lame to say it sucks when yet there is art work and things that could make it better. You want to help, not put em down so he will not make anymore stuff...

Honestly I think it looks great. The gfx might ressemble GK but I'm sure the plot won't.

All I see when I pay are Pricey Items, a Huge gap between Newbies and Rich folk (There's practically no "Middle" there)

Weird 3D T-rex baddies, and events every so often.

As for a storyline or a basic concept... Not really...

Archaic will be a based mostly around the Pirates, the Noblemen Towns, and the Tribal villages.

With the occasional explosion and/or deamon summoning :grin:

Seriously, to me this looks like you just drew some sloppy outlines and filled them in with filters. The boat looks horrible, too. The only thing I think looks nice is the GUI.

Osrs showed me it, and I was very impressed, although, it does resemble 2k2 a lot, but I don't think that is a bad thing.
