Disable default 'z' movement?

I am scripting a movement system for a server using 3d terrain and I just can't seem to override the graal's default movement for the player's z...

Can this even be done?

thing is... why would you want to? You prefer levitating over the water? or going inside of mountains? X_X

X and Y coordinates arnt in a straight and even line on GK and such.

I think setting the players z (playerz = ###) will screw up the z movement a little.

You could always do "playerz = getz(newx, newy)" in a movement system :\ .

Is anyone with the knowledge on how to do this going to tell me how? If you _know_ that it can't be done please tell me.
