Weapon Select

Well Ill probably seem like an idiot for asking, but I will anyway.
Using this type of script/command
for (this.i=0;this.i<weaponscount;this.i++) {
}
how could I get it to show all weapons in your inventory at once, so far Ive only been able to make it show one at a time, via a circle type thing. Thanks in advanced.

-I dont think I broke any rules with this, but just in case sorry e.e-

Use of #W and #w will probabbly be needed. If you put a parrenthesis after message codes you can get the index of them.

use different indecies for the showimgs maybe?

Yea heh

Yea, thanks, but I figured apon I would need those already. But to be honest I wont even need what I originally thought. Ive got the script almost done now, its rather nice :)

Heh, i've always wondered how you could make a menu. Forgot about loops. Anyway, yes, a for loop is good. I suppose to do something like this, and suppose the very first weapons is the -system weapon. Let's say, the weapon limit is, um... 20.
for (i=1;i<=20;i++){
showimg i,this.x,this.y,#w(i);
}
ofcourse you'll need for loops for i.e. new x and y, and ofcourse changeimgvis.

No you won't. You can do all that you need in a single loop.

GoZelda 07-18-2003 03:30 PM

Kaimestu note that you can use this loop to, i didn't said you couldn't use this loop, just that you need a loop for them. A lso with imgvis was meant to be that you needed to add it in, but i admit that was a little unclear of me =\

Seems strange that you used the plural form of 'loop', then.

GoZelda 07-18-2003 04:54 PM

Look. You need a loop for new x, for new y. But you can use it all in the same loop.

No, you look. I'm willing to accept that you didn't mean to imply multiple loops, but you did nonetheless. All fault here is entirely yours.

Depends from what view you're looking at it.
But i guess you're probably right.
