I am sorry to post this but no one on Era will do anything about this guy who keeps on harrasing me ..and massing out to everyone. his account is ShadowStrike2k1 and this isnt all what he has been saying. i havent done anything to him but he keeps harrasing me just because of my age. I am 41 and love to play graal and i know there are others who are around my age but dont get harrased about it. This guy isnt the only one but this guy is the worst can someone do anything about this guy? or someone get Era's staff to pay attention to things like this?? no one would help not even CHrisz he doesnt care about what people say to others.. only if its about Panther internation members. =/

Signas was banned for a week, and his Era Mafia Leader rank will be considered. How can a leader act like this anyway, we dont want of this in Era, call me corrupt if you want

Why don't you people stick with a local ban? Don't just ban him for a week, do it forever. Too many people get off easily on Era because staff are too lax there. I've seen a few people banned and accused of hacking unbanned 2-3 days later because they kissed major butt to staff. Thats not cool. And Seara is constantly made fun of on that server and NOTHING ever happens to people that mass profanity, harrass players, and sometimes hackers that are smart enough to avoid the auto jail npcs go free. Era really needs a better system to deal with players that cause trouble. Its obviously needed, yet nothing is ever done. :\

Hm..i know how you feel..it seems i cant go anywhere on graal without someone harrasing me...ive never heard such laungage since i went to graal..

If it were my call he'd be globally banned. That's blatant purposeful sexual harassment and that is NOT tolerated. I hope to see him blocked=1.

That there is any hesitation at all about banning him from Era is *****ic, especially considering he was staff.

another thing while people are looking here ....today me and some other tachis were being warped to the outside of the spar complex and killed...then now im banned from the SPar complex when i havent done anything in the spar complex to be banned. i think whoever has the powers in the spar complex or on Era were abusing their powers to kill me and other Tachi members. and i dont know who banned me from spar complex bbut i think the person who warped me there did =/. i thought Chrisz didnt want the ban/kick commands in Era because they werent "realistic" and can easily be abused. now if the gangs cant have that command why should other buildings can?

I have never lied. I have always been honest. He did send this on mass, if you dont beleive me get on era and ask around and they will tell you. I dont make up things about people, I have always been nice to all no matter what.

*sigh* Signas is a good person at heart; unfortunately when he does things like this, any 'at heart' qualities are instantly rendered meaningless.

He needs to receive a very, very large, very official, very scary warning that this is bad (that one week ban is a good method of doing this), and if he continues? Then, and only then, we should talk about what HoudiniMan suggested. However, I believe he has the capacity and capability to reform his behavior.

Well, I hear Spar Mods are doing the same to her. She imed me today asking if I can help her, the spar mods were abusing a bug to ban her so it summons her to them, then they would PK her. Then after that she massed saying that was wroung, and it shouldnt happen. Then they did it once more but this time they didnt unban her. :mad:

But I think these Spar Mods need to be removed also :\

That is truly disturbing, and I wonder why we let these kids play...to me that deserves a permanant ban. That is dead wrong.

Only i dont know the account now.
I went to Era to see a freind and straight away i was sexually harrassed, i reported it onscreen to two staff members in the level with me, and they laughed, so i left.
Hopefully now something will be done about the harrassment there, although i'm inclined to agree with HoudiniMan.
Permanent ban.
Sexual harrassment is not a joke, not when your the girl on the recieving end, you guys just dont understand.

I agree, even though im not totaly for adults playing kid games, I still respect them. No one should be treated like that its just wroung X_x

Well, I think someone needs to go on and give them a word or 2 that they'd never forget, even if you admin message it 20 times o.O

But yes, I personally feel this person should be banned, at least locally. But for a 2-3 days, to a week, I find is too small. From what I've read, Era really needs to start cracking down on people who "play" like that. That's unacceptable.

Not entirely. Staff are hired for a reason. From what I see, the staff is doing little to nothing to rectify the situation.

Its not that I have anything against it, it just feels wierd..

he should be banned this should not be tolerated at all, it happens all the time and nothing ever gets done about it especialy on era. he should be banned to show the rest that it will not be tolerated and that the foot has been put down,
1 week wont do anything he just wont say it to seara again on his main account at least but he will i bet you say it to someone else that does not alreay knwo what happened or be a prick to newbies who dont know better...:mad: :o

if he does only get banned for 1 week make him mine like 10000 rocks on era before he can play, and if he comes out once and anyone cathes him out then post and ban him for breaking the law.... just an idea and gave me a great idea for my server jail :)

Its pretty much ovisious that he is getting banned. I would totaly agree on globaly banning this guy. Most people do this but they dont think they can get away with it, mybe if this guy is banned it will show other people that they can get away with this type of stuff and mybe it would stop some of it o.O

She started IMing me this happened, and Seara is well known on Era for being truthful.

Sexual harrassment is very bad and should not be tolerated, agreed.

But, I feel the problem is more with the fact that they don't understand how bad it is.

So, what are the choices?

1) Give each person that does it such a serious warning (Again, the 1 week ban seems rather appropriate here) that they'll never want to do it again.

2) Make an example out of the first one who does it, completely go overboard his punishment so that nobody else will want to do it again (until, of course, they've forgotten the example, at which point they will start up again).

Number one seems far more feasible to me.

Moon Goddess: It's interesting to see that you're throwing yourself behind Seara's cause despite the fact that her thread technically breaks the rules. Obviously you have two sets of standards, but I wonder: Exactly what condition separates them? Does the thread starter need to be female to gain immunity from the rules? Is it an age thing? Or maybe it's unique to threads about sexual harrassment? Please, enlighten me.

Everybody else: If I were in charge, I would remove this Signas guy from all staff positions and permanently ban him from the server. But - and this is important - not simply because his choice of harrassment was sexual in nature. I don't believe that his crude words harmed Seara in any significant way. Anybody who can't endure the childish rantings of belligerent children should lock themselves away from the internet, because as sad a fact as it is, they make up the majority of its population.

So, yes, he should be punished. The fact that he resorted to sexual harrassment should increase the severity of his punishment, but not for the ridiculous reason that his words were any more harmful. No, Seara has enough life experience to be able to take that kind of impotent jeering. The actual reason is that he took the insults as far as he could. He used sexual content because he thought that it would strengthen his attacks. Through that willingness to ignore social standards and hold nothing back, he showed everybody that he was not suitable to hold a staff position, and that he could not function as a respectable player.

This isn't about justice. It's about the removal of unwanted elements.

That makes me sick. He should be globally banned. Usually I wouldn't support something so harsh, but objectivity only goes so far. Some things are just wrong, what this kid did was wrong and if he were doing this on UN he'd be permanently banned and so would every account he ever logged on to.


And so the argument about "what is wrong" isn't brought into this thread, let me state that the use of crude attacks targetting an individuals private and personal life is pretty wrong.

The few times I talked to Signas, he seemed like he was a nice guy. I guess a lot of people are two faced to me.

I don't think this is a problem with Graal, just a problem with Era. If this happened on other servers, there would be a good chance that staff would do something about it.

After talking to Spark, we decided that Signas will be globally banned for 2-3 days as a warning. If this happens again, he will receive a perma ban. I hope that the Era staff members decide on him being banned for good.
