Lord/EXP problem
 

Well, I'm not sure if I'm the only one, but I've been having problems with getting experience from lords.

The first one I actually killed on my own, I got absolutely no experience from it.
Then the next one I killed, I was in my own little party so I could check out the experience gained. Well, I killed it and "/party kills" said I received 97.5k from killing it, when I only was rewarded 7k. :mad:


What's up with this?

What level are you in the field you are killing the lord with?

(e.g. if you're killing with a weapon, what's your physical level?)

Maybe the level field that your trying to kill in has already killed so much that little experience is givin off by kills. That's what happenes when I try to kill with something that would add expperience to my Wisdom Catergory.

And the party. If you were in a party with a weaker,and alot of people the experience is divided into the party,so your not the only one getting points.

no its like this
if you were had someone weaken it for you the person who does majority damage gets the most xp
the no xp one is when lord commited suicide.
if you killed it solo then either most of the xp went into your base level or into your stat level (physique magic etc)

Are you in peaceful mode?

A similar thing happend to me..
I killed my very first lord (without people helping) and it said I killed it and all, but I didnt get any experience at all..It was a glok lord, like that really matters

I do not appriciate being treated as a child, just to let you know.

Anyways, I was level 7 (base) and level 5 in wisdom for the first one. I did all the damage to the lord and it gave me the flavour text that I killed it.

For the second one, I was the only one in the party, as I stated above, to keep track of experience. I had a base level of 8 this time, I believe and level 6 in wisdom.


Also, I am in peaceful mode.

Peaceful mode would explain the difference, I think you only get 75% exp in comparison to battlemode.

doesnt matter he shouldve gotten more than 7k exp
im level14 and whenever i kill a lord in pmode i get at least 70k from it and around 80k whenever im in bmode

The lords have been known to spontaneously combust (A.K.A suicide) when they have low health.

Lies Apehex. I'm base lvl 13 ad Phsy lvl 13. I kill a Glok lord and get 45.5 k. I am in a party, and monitor it constantly. I am alone in teh party, since it is password protected. X_X LIES ARE BAD!

Devil, he can be telling the truth you know. I get around 40k and I'm level 13 in wisdom, but if I kill one with physique or magic, then I'll get around 70k~80k because I'm such a lower level in those categories.

I think experience gained may also be effected by what class you are...

Level 9 priest,
Magic: 7
Mental: 7
Wisdom: 8

I killed a lord with large bullet, gained at least 30k exp. WOW. That almost leveled magic. Woo hoo :grin:

Also, er, you CAN'T get exp to your base level, your base level is the exp of all sub classes added together.
