strange Rings...
 

Check the attatchment for what I'm referring to, happened this morning. Also, a friend of mine has a wis+1-ring which says it sells for 500... I tried using jewler on them, but to no effect... Any idea what is different about these rings, if at all?

small update - I just saw a ring (regeneration +1) - for more than 10000 °°

Seems the npc that decides the restock items and prices is on the fritz :\

Well, it seems even the NPCs can't avoid inflation. ^.~

I'd hate to see what Ring of War/Elrond/Strife would cost :P

Someone who wants to buff their character? Lots of people use -stat rings.

would you buy one for 1.5k? doubt it

I would wager that some people would. You forget that lots of people seem to have money coming out the wazoo.

Errrr I'veseen this problem in every store. The thing about this problem that is really bad is that the items never restock... if they do it takes a couple days..... this really needs to be fixed.....

hey, you guys that are seeing the strange rings have the shopping skill, eh? Thats your problem. Shopping is like a gamble. If you have 30 charm, shopping makes no differance to the price, expect making it higher. If you charm is low, shopping makes the price lower.

DId you just say if you learned the shopping skill and have high charm. The rings that spawn in shops get messed up? :\

Shopping is just a gamble. By chance it is lower, higher, or the same amount as it is supposed to me. And if you have 30 charm, it wont get any lower, so it goes higher.

At any rate, Excal, these rings appear in Hotaru, and Tanarthia, just not regen rings for 10k. Its always good to find them if you have spare cash... I got a practical ring of woe, jus it did -4 to str, con, and dex... hehe, but it went boom in my house.. v.v sad sad thing

Why do they need to be fixed if they aren't broken?

Hm... so Shopping is like a random cha-change? WHen is it applied, once when you learn it, the first time you look at an item or every day?
Also, aren't shops supposed to restock every... well, restock at all? I remember seeing 2 of these junky expensive rings prior not playing for a few days, when I came back they were still there, same rings, same shop... and unless someone bought them they still are...

This two rings haven't restocked for a month :|
