They charged $1.95 for the numbers for what reason? Because you just signed up with PayPal (there is a signup fee, if I remember correctly), or because you bought the Graalonline package?
And if you can't play the game, why can you post on the forums?

No, no, no. The 4 digit number is to activate your paypal account, not to sign up for graal. Do NOT try to guess it. Ass it will cancel your account and you will be forced to fax them ID, ect to re-enable your account. I did that and had to use a second card and they were both charged the signup fee. But when you enter the 4-digit code you can sign up to graal immediately.

yea i have to wait until the next billing statement..or my mom said that she can call in a couple days, but paypal said dont call because they would close my account if they get a complaint... so i have to wait until the bill comes...like next month or something...i was all excited...lol

Sign-up fee for Paypal? I don't recall getting that. In fact, they offered $5 if I added more billing options, like a banking account...checking...etc. But I never did that...

It must've been added recently, I made two accounts on paypal (the first i messed up) and was never asked a setup fee.

Yea I had the same problem you did. Well its not really a problem. I just said screw it and entered my bank account and now I got my VIP working. So either way what you do you will have your account going soon enough.

Um wait... paypal doesn't charge a signup fee. You're talking about the verification of your credit card. They did the same when they had to verify my bank account. They don't charge you anything... What happens is, they make two deposits on your account each under a dollar. Then you take the two deposits and enter them into the site, and it will give you the four digit code, or something like that. It's just to verify that your credit card/bank account/whatever, exists.

It could be slightly different for credit cards, as I signed up using a bank account, but it's probably not very different or whatever.

i found out that the reason that they are charging 1.95 because people like hack credit cards and it end with the 4 digit number (at the end of the credit card number). So when i get the 4 digit number i sign in and put the 4 digit number that is next to the bill then there will be a $1.95 credit to my next buy. So i guess instead of 19.00 it will be $18.05..Or i have no clue. lol

superb 07-10-2003 08:20 PM

that number's on the back of the credit card....lol

DarkHero 07-13-2003 12:28 AM

well if you put in a wrong number then you have to fax a valid ID and crap. I dont wanna risk it.

Zethar 07-13-2003 08:21 PM

The numbers not on the back of the card! That's a 3-digit security code. He's looking for the 4-digit number you get on you next bank statement concerning paypal, you that that exact number to use pay pal.

Golbez 07-13-2003 09:32 PM

Cant you just use a Credit Card off of Graal's site instead of signing up for pay pal? Because to me it would take a long time that way =X

tc_topcat 07-13-2003 10:47 PM

woth paypal now, you get a charge of some small ammount then it will show up on your credit card statement with a unique code...you use this unique to activate your account and the small ammount is re-emburst

DarkHero 07-14-2003 06:57 PM
