Well, I don't know anyone besides Lyndzey with experience in this job. Personally I think she should continue to be accounts admin. I don't even see why we need a GM. I haven't seen enough of what they actually do to really see a justification as to why we need one.

Maybe because Nem. didn't do his job the best he could?

Please dont start this, I was talking to Lyndzey about it, it triggers loads of rumors off. By saying that, an account admin could be needed to replace her, and then most people pick a staff whos already a globa, so theres another space, then people look at whos left and where they need people, until people are going around seeing if people will support them for jobs that are not needed, anyhow, Lyndzey said for me to tell others, and she would also say that:

She would be a good GM. I think we need a few GM's though. Maybe 2 main ones and 1-2 juniors. So that there is always someone on to help or coordinate developement,or events on servers.I miss Koni's events on kingdoms...i miss all events on kingdoms.

I personally don't think Angel would even want this job. And (no offense angel) I don't think she would be properly fitted for it anyway. Reason I say that is because, she has too many other things she does to be bothered with being that. I won't say what, but let's just say she is. I don't know why you want her to be it so bad Golbez. . I personally agree with all that Lyndzey fits the category better than anyone. well that and me. mwahahahaha, im a newbie I started a week ago so lemme do it.

Until someone can fully explain what a GM actually DOES I still stand by my opinion that we do not need one. The only thing I ever saw Nemesis do was post a few threads on the forums. His other stuff that he did seemed to pertain to being manager on classic.

This is an Old, deleted post, but you should get the gist.

Konidias and Ibonic:
- Manage the support center and answer all support tickets as soon as possible

Unixmad seems to be doing this now, but perhaps someone else should help him.

- Organize events on Graal2001 and Graal2002

Perhaps the staff they already have should do this.

- Do the administration of the web site and forums

I think they have someone doing this.

- Do the administration of Graal2001 (Konidias will help to start)
- Put information’s on the Web site about Graal2001 life.

Irrelevent obviously. :)

- Create a monthly newsletter

This would be cool because it would give non-forums users a way to actually hear about news.

- Do the administration of Graal2002 with Stefan and Me
- Work on Graal2002 (story line, scripts)
- Make graphics and animations for Graal2001 and Graal2002

That stuff doesn't sound like the same job as game master.

What’s our goals ?

Should be up to their staff.

Manager's job, not a separate entity.

This is being handled already besides the newsletter.

So if that is the job of "game master" then it is obviously no longer needed. Besides, Nemesis did none of these things to my knowledge so what did HE do as game master?

That's just what the gold server GM's did. I think the Classic Gm's are like the people who fire corruoption with managers,act as account admins,take most of the managemnt on classic.Nemesis didnt really do much. He wasnt on enough.

That sounds more correct to me. However, Nemesis did little to nothing as far as this goes (well, there are a FEW notable things like babylon stuff). In this case, the person who is chosen would need to actually do the job. I guess there's no harm in hiring one unless the other level 4's intend to deal with this themselves.
