West of the mountain...

Two suggestions today... my name should be changed to
deman the 2nd :D

I was on my way to the bile avatar when rain hit my face...
REALLY GOOD RAIN west of the mountain!

Someone told me that the rain has been there since eastern.
Why dont you finally add weather effects??? As is said the rain
effect is really cool!

It would indeed be nice to have weather, but I don't think having this rain every now and then would be fun. It should be a complete system, with rain, fog, darkness... something like that - given it was possible, I'd gladly wait for rain a little longer.

I already made like Light rain,Medium rain,Thunderstorm Rain,Snowing,Wind Blowing sound effects. I dont know if they were ever uploaded.

i didnt see any so it seems he didnt upload them...
but it would be quiet cool having some rain and snow!

dude one word...LAG! and somthing not welcome considering some of the mass ammounts people still suffer X_X. i do agree this would be fun but it would be an immense job because you would have to make it look seamless and you couldnt put clouds in because it would ruin it. not only that but you would then have to implement temperaters to determine the type of percipitation add seasons probobly day and night to make it look real then you;d have to get the monsters to have some sort of perk or nerf after the percipitation/season starts. but its a good idea!

I agree on the lag, it's sometimes just terrible - even a single horse more or less in a room can make a difference, so what will a thunderstorm outside do? I just hope there's a way to avout lag in some way, I just don't know how, except that everyone stocks up on cpu-power... which in turn is a financial problem. Then again, people can switch light effects off, but could the same be done with weather? And, if so, people who have no problem with lag having both on might switch it off to be even faster... or such... °°

ya lag is a bad problem but i hope there is a way to avoide (the rain i saw didnt cause lag even if there were 3 horses and some trees)

Mst likely the light effects to the really severe lag. Use small lights instead of raindrops and bang... forget about sparkling snow for a nice christmas atmosphere ;)
